Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems in a voice recognition system when a heurisitic command and control system is provided by predetermined voice commands for starting respective corresponding system and displaying a voice command in response to the detection of the voice command. SOLUTION: An inputted voice is sent to a recognition process for comparing it with a group of stored commands 52. When an actually command spoken is clearly identified, the voice command 55 is executed and then displayed on a display 38 through a display adapter 36. Or this voice command is displayed first and executed thereafter. When the voice input includes a item other than the actual command, the system uses a relation table 53 being set of inclusive items used in relation to normally stored actual commands 52.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a device for displaying a near feedback in a speech command system capable of avoiding inattentiveness of an end user and visibility deterioration of an application given to a GUI(Graphical User Interface) user interface. SOLUTION: As for a speech-operated computer system, a speech command from an end user, which is related to individual positions on a display screen 30 or demanded from the individual positions, is analyzed. According to the analysis, a confirmation area 36 is displayed on the display screen in a position functionally related to the analyzed contents and contexts of the speech input or the screen position where utterance has been urged. The recognized utterance is displayed in the confirmation area spatially placed on the display screen at a variable position functionally related to the command, namely, the contents of the control utterance so as to be adjacent to the position on the display screen on which user can concentrate the sight line and is urged to utter.
