Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely estimate the possibility of the acquisition of information that a user requires by allowing a web browser to relate and displays an inter- page structure and a page attribute received from a server which has information on a web site. SOLUTION: The web server 210 for a site map with an attribute obtains contents from web servers 220 and 230 having the contents by http 250, 260 to hold the relative structure among pages of the web site and the attributes that the page have at the web site. At a request from the web browser 240, the web server 210 transmits programs and HTML pages described by Java, JavaScript, etc., needed to display the site map with attributes by http 270. The user of the web browser 240 when finding a necessary page in the site map with the attribute can obtain the contents from the web servers 220 and 230 having the contents by http 280, 290.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the browser sharing method and system which is not required to previously install a control mechanism in a computer to perform the sharing of a browser. SOLUTION: A collaboration server is prepared to accumulate the sharing pages from a Web server holding the original pages and includes a cache manager which accumulates the pages generated dynamically by the Web server for the sharing purpose, a communication manager which performs the session management such as the communication and the participation/withdrawal between the node managers which manage browsers existing on every user machine, an ordinary Web server which downloads a mechanism to attain the sharing of the said Web server and an embedder which embeds a page manager in every page. Each of plural user machines consists of an existing Web browser which can execute both Java and Script and a page manager which is embedded in every page.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically distinguish a simplifiable part of system representation by a quantitative reference, in a modeling tool for a design.
SOLUTION: An expression is extracted from a block of SysML, or a block diagram of Simulink (R) is converted into a differential equation, and a coefficient thereof is expanded in a series. First, the differential equation is normally solved by a CAS, and preferably, a solution thereof is also expanded in a series. Next, the expression including the differential equation is solved by the CAS as an interval coefficient by interval analysis technique. Coefficient vectors of the stored solution obtained by performing the normal solution and the solution of a result of the interval analysis are compared. As a result, when an inter-vector distance is a fixed value or below, a target coefficient is set to zero, and the expression including the differential equation is solved by the CAS. The coefficient vectors of the stored solution obtained by performing the normal solution and the solution of the result are newly compared. As a result, when the inter-vector distance is the fixed value or below, a term of the target coefficient is dropped from the differential equation to simplify the differential equation.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To provide a pointing object display technique capable of operating a pointing object without being conscious of timewise deviation on display between the sites of a distributed computing environment. CONSTITUTION: With the timewise deviation of what degree a receiver side receives the pointing object is confirmed by displaying an auxiliary pointing object on the screen of a sender side, the timewise deviation on the display is absorbed and thus, the burdens of a user are reduced and smooth information transmission is made possible. Also, the timewise deviation on the display is considered on the receiver side, the position of the pointing object of the sender side at present is predicted and the pointing object is displyed on the screen of the receiver side at the predicted position.

A communication section 31a transmits a sticking message specifying the object to be stuck to the corresponding group editor means of another computer system in response to the control section 35a.

Abstract: A method and a system for sharing a browser page wherein it is not necessary to install a controller for sharing on a computer in advance comprises a collaboration server for accumulating pages to be shared from a Web server retaining the original pages. The collaboration server comprises a caching manager that accumulates pages dynamically generated on an original Web server for sharing, a communication manager that controls sessions such as communication and participation/quitting among node managers controlling a browser on each user machine, an ordinary Web server for downloading facilities for implementing sharing of a Web server and an embedder that embeds in each page a page manager for controlling pages. The plural user machines to be shared comprise an existing Web browser capable of running Java and Script, a page manager embedded in each page. The page manager comprises two parts, namely, a page controller and a page communicator. The page controller detects changes in a page element, communicates them to another machine by way of a page communicator, and receives changes in a page of another computer and then reflects the same changes to its own page element. A page communicator manages communication between the Node manager and the Page controller. The node manager for controlling a browser is provided for each process and manages communication between each page manager and a server.
