Abstract: Configuration and operation information with respect to more than one display devices associated with a computer system can be gathered and stored as profiles. The information preferably includes at least one of information on the number of colors, resolution, and synchronous frequency, information on the power management function and/or screen saver function, and information on which one of multiple connected displays is to be treated as the primary display device. By selecting a profile so as to simultaneously perform various settings on the plurality of display devices, it is possible to easily set and switch between display functions.
