    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video projector capably of projecting a video with high resolution while suppressing cost increase and realizing smooth data processing by projecting two videos. SOLUTION: This projector is provided with a light module A5 using one selection type liquid crystal display panel with high resolution converting a P-wave (P-polarized light) and an S wave (S-polarized light) polarized by a polarized beam splitter(PBS) 4 into a video light whose polarized, state is inverted and reflecting the light, a light module B6 using three conventional reflection liquid crystal display panels 3, a frame buffer 13 storing video data with high resolution and a driver A7 controlling drive of the light module A5 based on the video data stored in the frame buffer 13.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a video projector whose video quality is improved and whose cost can be reduced by providing a composing projecting means, etc., projecting first and second videos on a screen as a composed video. SOLUTION: Video light reflected by a light module A5 and a PBS(polarizing beam splitter) 4 and video light reflected by the light module B6 and transmitted through the PBS 4 are synthesized by the PBS 4, and the synthesized video light passes through a projection lens 14 and is projected on the screen 15. Thus, light emitted from a light source 1, that is, both P wave (P polarized light) and S wave (S polarized light) split by the PBS 4 can be effectively used by providing the light modules A5 and B6 respectively converting and reflecting the P wave and the S wave polarized by the PBS 4 to the video light whose polarizing conditions are reversed. Thus, the luminance of the video projected on the screen 15 is improved, so that the quality of the video can be improved and the cost can be reduced.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive a color projector having high luminance and of a low cost while utilizing existing light bulbs and also to enable the color projector to perform sufficient gradation expression. SOLUTION: Light from an incandescent light source 1 is split into luminous fluxes of red, green and blue by means of a dichroic mirror 4, these split luminous fluxes are made incident on a lenticular lens 5. This lens works such that it converts the luminous flux of each color entering a rough-pitch lenticular lens to a color band set consisting of sub-bands split into luminous fluxes of 1/3 or less diameter, and emits it from a fine pitch lenticular lens. This outgoing color band set is image-formed on a DMD panel 8 through a galvano-mirror 6a and a coupling lens 7. Then, the color band set is scanned vertically in a reciprocating manner by that pitch on the DMD panel through the turning of the galvano-mirror, while the DMD panel is simultaneously driven, the modulated light is projected from the DMD panel onto a screen by means of a projection lens 9.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a recording head capable of altering recording density and capable of reducing the decrease degree of a recording speed even in the case of high density recording. CONSTITUTION: An imaginary parallel line group 84 having a pitch b1 , an imaginary parallel line group 86 having a pitch b2 and an imaginary parallel line group 88 having a pitch b3 respectively contained within the same plane are arranged so that the respective parallel line groups cross each other and the crossing points of the straight lines constituting the parallel line groups coincide with each other (three lines cross each other necessarily at respective crossing points). At this time, the ink jet orifices 44A-N bored in the ink jet part 72A of a recording head are respectively arranged at the positions corresponding to the crossing points of the straight lines so that respective two ink jet orifices are positioned on the straight lines constituting the respective parallel line groups. By this constitution, the extending directions of either one of the parallel line groups is allowed to coincide with a head moving direction by rotating the recording head to make it possible to change over recording density to three stages of 1/b1 , 1/b2 , 1/b3 .
