Abstract:
A group communication service is adapted for multi-point to multi-point communication. Identical message streams are received by a tier of processing servers from a tier of sources. The processing servers deliver the message streams to a tier of destinations. The group communication service enables the processing servers to deal with newly added message streams and deleted message streams while preserving total ordering.
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently display a resource schedule by displaying the resource schedule including plural objects in an N-level hierarchy. SOLUTION: A flight is taken out of a data base and edited in a low-order level window 13 and a duty is generated from the flight displayed in the low- order level window 13 and edited in an intermediate-level window 12. The duty in the intermediate-level window 12 can be transferred to a high-order level window 11 so as to generate new crew pairing or switch the duty of existent crew pairing. So that the crew pairing can be generated and edited, another window is provided to graphically display respective levels of crew pairing in the respective windows in synchronous relation on a common axis representing common subordination relation.
Abstract:
Methods, systems, and products are disclosed for filtering application messages in a high speed, low latency data communications environment that include: receiving an application message in a transport engine of a message receiving device from a message transmitting device, the application message having a message contents label and a collision indicator, the message contents label representing contents of the application message, the collision indicator specifying whether the message contents label represents different contents in at least one other application message; determining, by the transport engine, whether contents of the application message satisfy a transport layer constraint in dependence upon the message contents label; providing, by the transport engine, the application message and the collision indicator to messaging middleware of the message receiving device if the contents of the application message satisfy the transport layer constraint; and administering the application message, by the messaging middleware, in dependence upon the collision indicator.
Abstract:
A method and system for displaying a resource schedule containing a plurality of objects in an N-level multiple hierarchy all of which objects are subject to a common dependency, comprising the steps of allocating different non¹overlapping areas of a display device for each level of the resource schedules, and graphically displaying each level of the resource schedule in the respective area of the display device in synchronized relationship on a common axis representative of the common dependency. Editing tools are provided for allowing objects of the same level to be interchanged, objects of a given level i (where i 1) to be disassembled into an object of a lower level (i - 1). The method and system are particularly suited for constructing and editing crew pairings for airlines and allow simple and efficient on-line, interactive manipulation of resources.
