SOLUTION: An indication information generating system includes: a difference calculating part 20 for calculating a difference between the structured documents; and an X-path updating part 30 for generating indication information which indicates a corresponding part in the other structured document from indication information which indicates a prescribed part in the prescribed structured document, based on information concerning the difference calculated by the difference calculating part 20. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast system by which a user can browse a web page without using a web browser. SOLUTION: An application server 12 of a transmission facility 10 converts a web page transferred from the Internet 16 into a video image and sets a link onto the video image on the basis of a link set to the web page. A video server 14 of the transmission facility 10 compresses the video image outputted from the application server 12 with an MPEG2 encoder and transmits the compressed video image together with the link set onto the video image. An STB (Set Top Box) 22 of a reception terminal 20 displays the received video image on a television receiver 24 and relates the link set on the received video image with a cursor position on the video image outputted on the television receiver 24.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network system that can realize high-speed utilization of network connection through the use of satellite channels. SOLUTION: The network system measures a data transfer rate in the case of using a telephone line where two-way communication is available between a server and a client and in the case of using a satellite channel where only one-way communication from the server to the client is available and selects the telephone line or the satellite channel depending on the measured data transfer speed.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate Web applications and support system changes and system reconfiguration, including as targets even objects and webpages dynamically generated on a server side. SOLUTION: A classification processing part 40 classifies, by structural analysis, static HTML content acquired by the execution of a Web application. With the classification results, a template extraction part 50 extracts templates of dynamic HTML content on the Web application. According to the classification results of the classification processing part 40 and access information acquired at the static HTML content acquisition, a transition extraction part 60 extracts transition information on the processed Web application. According to the extracted templates and transition information, a model generation part 70 renders an HTML document for generating a model of the Web application to generate an image. SOLUTION: A first display rule 29 to be a base is generated from document type definition 27 of the structured document 26 and a preliminarily regulated default generation rule 28 by a base display rule generating means 21. A first display document 30 and an inter-element correspondence relation file 31 are generated from the first display rule 29 and the structured document 26 by a display document generating means 22. The first display document 30 is edited by visual display document editing environment 23 and a second display document 32 and an editing operation history file 33 are generated. The second display document 32, the editing operation history file 33, the inter-element correspondence relation file 31 and the structured document 26 are referred to and a second display rule 34 on which the editing contents are reflected is generated in a display rule updating means 24.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output only a synchronizing signal while correcting its amplitude into a standard without affecting the video signal and color burst signal of a composite video signal. SOLUTION: A pedestal voltage Vped (reference level) to be repeated in the same cycle as the synchronizing signal of an inputted composite video signal 30 is detected (14), and a reference voltage Vsync corresponding to the amplitude of the synchronizing signal determined to the standard of the composite video signal is generated (16). SOLUTION: When the system receives a structural pattern which indicates an element or an element group in a document logical structure of a structuralized document and is designated by a user, an edit object item determining means determines edit object items to be edited among items constituting the structural pattern. A structural pattern candidate creating means edits the edit object items into differently-expressed items based on document logical structure information of the structuralized document, and creates structural patter candidates. A structural pattern candidate list creating means sorts the created structural pattern candidates in accordance with a display index for providing the user with a selection standard, and creates a list of the structural pattern candidates.
