Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly hold a flex cable by turning up the flex cable inside a hard disk drive (HDD). SOLUTION: A bracket A70 and a bracket B80 are attached to a flex cable 60. The bracket A70 and the bracket B80 are made independent components, and a band 90 is installed. When the band 90 is used, the bracket A70 and the bracket B80 can be held by attaching the band 90, while the bracket A70 and the bracket B80 are made to overlap. By making the bracket A70 and the bracket B80 independent components, attaching and detaching are easy. Attaching and detaching can be clone in various steps of manufacturing and disassembling. A hook part and a support part can be also arranged on the band 90.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive in which a head assembly can efficiently, reliably and highly accurately balanced, and to provide a head assembly or the like. SOLUTION: In a hard disk drive, a head assembly 13 to drive a magnetic head 33 for reading/writing data from/in a recording disk has a constitution such that the sleeve 21 of a pivot member 20 which swivelably supports the head assembly 13 is equipped with a flange part overhanging towards the circumferential side and flat surface parts 41A and 41B for adjusting the balance of the center of gravity of the head assembly 13 are formed on the circumferential surface of the flange part.
