    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a flicker of an LCD, i.e., a large problem to a wire-frame model that a user sees. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with an input part 27 which inputs a video signal from a host side, a frame buffer 22 which stores the last luminance level of the inputted video signal, and a graph-base table 26 which stores luminance levels found from characteristics of a liquid crystal cell 32 by correspondence between the last luminance level and the next luminance level of a next video signal inputted to the input part 27, and equipped with an addition correction part 25 which determines an output luminance level for nearly equalizing the time integral quantity of luminance variation to the ideal quantity of light at stationary time and a liquid crystal control circuit 31 which drives the liquid crystal cell 32 displaying an image according to the output luminance level.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve performance and flexibility of a whole system by supporting a screen of a different aspect ratio or of a large size by using an existing graphics adapter. SOLUTION: This monitor system comprises a liquid crystal display device 30 provided with a liquid crystal panel 33 on which an image is displayed and in which the display area is virtually divided into plural divided areas, and plural graphics adapters 13-16 extending drawing data to the divided areas of this liquid crystal display 30, and the divided areas in this liquid crystal display 30 are obtained by further dividing are as where these graphics adapters 13-16 can draw, and the system comprises also a restructuring circuit 32 for sequentially reading and restructuring the drawing data extended by the graphics adapters 13-16.
