Abstract:
An information reproduction apparatus is provided comprising: supporting means for supporting a recording medium; a drive source for moving the recording medium between an initial insertion position and a reproduction position by driving said supporting means; transmission means incorporating a transmission element for transmitting the driving force of said drive source to said supporting means; characterised by retraction means operable to disengage said transmission element from said transmission means; and motion means operable to drive the recording medium from the reproduction position to the initial insertion position when said transmission element is disengaged, whereby said recording medium may be removed in the event of failure of said drive source.
Abstract:
An information reproduction apparatus in provided with supporting means for supporting a recording medium. A drive source, for moving the recording medium, is located between an initial insertion position and a reproduction position by driving said supporting means. Transmission means is included for transmitting the driving force of said drive source to said supporting means plus retraction means, operable to force a transmission element to retract from said transmission means. The transmission element is a part of said transmission means. Motion means operable to force the recording medium to move from the reproduction position to the initial insertion position under the condition that said transmission element is not engaged in said transmission means, so that in forcibly moving said supporting means, when the drive is out of operation, said supporting means are released from the drive force by means of said retraction means, thereby freeing the supporting means from the resistance force of the drive force. However, under normal operation, the said transmission element is returned to the said driving force transmitting path, thereby stopping inconvenience to the operation.

Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent instability in a servo control system in an optical disk drive by shifting a feedback phase by 180 deg. and mechanically feedback controlling. CONSTITUTION: A rough actuator 16 provided with a carriage 15 for controlling tracking movement of a read/write head 12 is attached to the base 11, of the optical disk drive 10. The actuator 16 is provided with a voice coil 23, etc., and a precise actuator 14 controlling focusing of an objective lens 13 also, and the actuator 14 is feedback controlled mechanically through a circuit card 21. The feedback phase is shifted by 180 deg. by the opening of the base 11 and a bend member of a spindle attaching flange, and reduction in a phase margin is eliminated. Thus, the instability in the servo control system is prevented, and the optical disk drive capable of stably controlling a mechanical servo without harmful resonance occurrence, etc., is obtained.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent print quality from degrading due to vibration when a gap roller touches the end part of a print object through a simple arrangement. SOLUTION: In a printer comprising a print head 11 for printing on a print object 12 being carried on a platen 13 in the subscanning direction by reciprocating in the main scanning direction A, B along the platen, a means for imparting an elastic force to the platen or the print head in the direction for bringing them closer to each other, and a gap roller 15 for forming a predetermined print gap by traveling on the print object while resisting against the elastic force as the print head reciprocates, an auxiliary member for forming a print gap having contact parts 23a and 23b, which assist formation of a predetermined print gap by touching the end part of the print object immediately before touching the gap roller during reciprocation thereby enlarging the gap between the platen and the print head, is arranged at the lower end part of the print head. PURPOSE: To effectively reproduce information without a large force for taking out a recording medium when a drive source is inoperative and also without bringing about a disturbance in an operation in the case of a normal driving. CONSTITUTION: When a driving force 300 becomes inoperative due to a breakdown of a power-supply unit, etc., in the state that a recording medium 200 is carried into a reproduction position, a clip or driver, etc., as an operation rod 280 is inserted into a through hole 270. Then, the tip of the operation rod 280 is abutted on a contact part 515 of a gear disengaging member 515, pressing down the contact part 515 and then passing by it before it is abutted on a contact part 615 of a turning arm 610, which is turned by a light force for a recording medium 200 to be taken out. Further, device does not bring about a disturbance in an operation in the case of a normal driving. Thus, information can effectively be reproduced.
