PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To configure a communication network comprising a plurality of communication nodes more efficiently. SOLUTION: The communication system is provided with: a communication link for connecting interactively the plurality of communication nodes arranged at adjacent grid points when the plurality of communication nodes and the respective plurality of communication nodes are arranged at pre-determined grid points in grid space composing a three-dimensional rectangular solid; and a shortcut link for connecting a communication node composing one side and a communication composing the other with respect to two sides at least which are not terminal sides in the grid space out of sides comprising the communication nodes in which no communication node is arranged at any adjacent grid points. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly convenient radio IC chip capable of using a plurality of different frequency bands and reading different information by communicating in different frequencies and restricting reading and writing of information. SOLUTION: An IC module 20 of the radio IC chip 100 comprises a plurality of memories 23, a reading and writing circuit 24 performing reading and writing processing of data from and to the memories 23, and a selector 25 which inputs electric signals of frequencies equal to radio signals outputted from an antenna 10 receiving the radio signals and identifies the memories 23 for reading and writing processing by the reading and writing circuit 24 in response to the frequencies of the electric signals. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a trackball which enables production of thinner information equipment.SOLUTION: A ball of a trackball comprises an upper portion, and a lower portion capable of accommodating the upper portion therein. The trackball includes the ball which becomes spherical when the rim of the upper portion meets and engages on the rim of the lower portion, and a cam mechanism provided inside the lower portion to couple the upper portion with the lower portion such that the depressing of the upper portion locks the upper portion near the bottom of the lower portion and the depressing of the upper portion again brings the upper portion back to the original position. The upper portion can be in: (1) a storage position when the upper portion is depressed in the diametrical direction of the ball and locked in the depressed position by the cam mechanism, which keeps the upper portion inside the lower portion; and (2) a usage position when the upper portion is depressed again in the diametrical direction of the ball, which releases the lock that has kept by the upper portion in the depressed position and allows the elastic force of the cam mechanism to push the upper portion up in the diametrical direction until the rim of the upper portion meets the rim of the lower portion to form a spherical shape that can be maintained against external pressure of a prescribed magnitude.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for restoration of a defective node in a torus type computer system. SOLUTION: When one of calculation nodes is broken during execution of calculation in a computer system including a torus network and a tree network including a plurality of IO nodes, each of the calculation nodes forming a link with a terminal IO node of the tree network, an IO node which forms a link with the defective node is reported as an alternate node specified by a one-dimension increased address of the address of the defective node to a node adjacent to the defective node. When the adjacent node receives a packet for the defective node, the packet is routed to the alternate node, and a job designated by the packet which reached the alternate node is processed in the alternate node. The alternate node confirms an address of calculation node to which a packet including the processing result of the job is transmitted, and transmits the packet from the calculation node connected to the alternate node to a calculation node closest to the address. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve, in a system which performs adjustment of hardware during starting, both of improvement in accuracy of adjustment and shortening of starting time of the system. SOLUTION: This system includes: a calibration execution part 142 which adjusts hardware so that the system correctly operates during starting of the system; and a correction data holding part 143 which holds correction information which shows setting of hardware adjusted by this calibration execution part 142 in association with an environmental condition when adjustment is performed. When corrected information associated with an environmental condition equivalent to the environmental condition when the system is started is held in the correction data holding part 143, the calibration execution part 142 performs setting of the hardware based on the corrected information currently held, instead of adjusting the hardware. Es werden Verfahren, Vorrichtungen und Produkte zum Erzeugen eines ausführbaren Verfahrens aus einer Textbeschreibung, die in einer natürlichen Sprache geschrieben ist, gemäß der vorliegenden Erfindung beschrieben. Aus einem Textdokument, das in einer natürlichen Sprache geschrieben ist, wird eine Gruppe von Aussagen extrahiert. Auf Grundlage der extrahierten Gruppe von Aussagen wird aus dem Textdokument eine Gruppe von Formeln extrahiert. Anschließend wird ein Zustandsübergangsgraph erzeugt, welcher eine Gruppe von Aussagewert-Bestimmungswegen umfasst, die durch die Gruppe von Formeln beschränkt sind. Der Zustandsübergangsgraph wird in eine Software-Anwendung übersetzt.

Bereitgestellt wird die Erfindung eines Mehrkernsystems des Ringbustyps mit einem Lesen neuer Arbeitsspeicherdaten durch einen Kern, dessen einer Kern (anfordernder Kern) eine Leseanforderung nach Daten in einem Arbeitsspeicher ausführt. Das System beinhaltet einen Arbeitsspeicher, eine Hauptarbeitsspeicher-Steuereinheit zum Verbinden des Arbeitsspeichers mit einem Ringbus und mehrere mit dem Ringbus verbundene Kerne. Jeder der Kerne beinhaltet weiterhin eine Cachespeicher-Schnittstelle und eine Cachespeicher-Steuereinheit zum Steuern der Schnittstelle. Die Hauptarbeitsspeicher-Steuereinheit beinhaltet weiterhin ein Cachespeicher-Verlaufsprotokoll aller Kerne. Die Cachespeicher-Steuereinheit jedes mit dem Ringbus verbundenen Kerns führt ein Snooping des Inhalts der Anforderung über die Cachespeicher-Schnittstelle durch, und wenn der Cachespeicher eines durchlaufenen Kerns die Daten enthält, ein Steuern des Kerns, um die Anforderung zu empfangen und die Daten an den anfordernden Kern zurückzusenden. Wenn kein Kern, der mit dem Ringbus in der zur vorgegebenen Pfadrichtung entgegengesetzten Pfadrichtung verbunden ist, entsprechende Daten enthält, einen Schritt des Lesens der Daten aus dem Arbeitsspeicher in den anfordernden Kern.
