Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle disk drive unit which is hardly affected by variation in the temperature in a cabin and stably operates even when mounted on a car, etc. SOLUTION: The on-vehicle disk drive unit 1 comprises a casing 3 which stores a disk drive 2, a Peltier element 4 as a temperature control means which has its top surface in contact with the casing 3 across an intermediate plate 18, a heat sink 5 which has its base piece 50 in contact with the reverse surface of the Peltier element 4, an electric fan 6 which blows air to the heat sink 5, and a housing 11 in which the casing 3 is stored at an upper part, and the heat sink 5 and the electric fan 6 are fixed at a lower part.
