Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide power management using a radio frequency identification (RFID) tag. SOLUTION: A device is provided with or connected to a low-power detection device capable of detecting proximity of of the RFID tag which a user of this device puts on. It is preferable that the RFID tag acquires energy from the detection device and returns a signal informing the detection device that the tag exists nearby, to the detection device. When the tag is too far away from the detection device, the RFID tag cannot reply, and as a result, the detection device becomes aware of the absence of the tag.
