Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique capable of visual creation of a resource file. SOLUTION: This invention provides a visual resource file builder tool including a library of a class corresponding to a keyword included in a resource file. By selecting a visual expression of a keyword provided in the builder tool, a user is promoted to input keyword data relating to the selected keyword. At the time of saving the input data, an instance (object) of a keyword class is saved in the resource file. The graphical expression of the saved keyword object is displayed to the user in a graphical user interface of the builder tool. After one or a plurality of keyword objects are included in the resource file, the user can convert the resource file into a standard text format resource file that can be used in a computer program described in various different computer languages.

Abstract: A shipping and playing adapter (10, 40, 60, 80) enables a reduced size CD (18) to play in a full-sized CD player. The adapter comprises first and second substantially semi-circular portions constructed of a material suitable for playing in a CD player. when combined together, the first and second portions form a disk dimensioned approximately equal to a full-sized CD for receiving the reduced size CD (18) thereon. Abstract: A technique for permitting the visual building of a resource file (110) is provided. A visual resource file builder file which includes a library of classes which correspond to keywords (114) which may be included in a resource file. By selecting a visual representation of a keyword provided in a builder tool, a user is prompted to input keyword data relative to the selected keyword. Upon saving the input data, an instance of the keyword class (an object) is saved in the resource file. A graphical representation of the saved keyword object is displayed to the user in the graphical user interface (60) for the builder tool. After the user has included one or more keyword objects in the resource file, the user may convert the resource file into a standard text format resource file which may be utilized by computer programs written in many different computer languages.

Abstract: Disclosed is an object-orientated game management system which enables games developers to design games using a platform-independent object model without needing to concern themselves with the details of multi-user communications management.
