Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device which a user can fold and store or carry when not in use. SOLUTION: The device is provided with a pedestal 11, which has a planar pedestal main body 12 which is to be placed on an object and a planar arm 13 which is erected at a prescribed angle on the pedestal main body 12, and a display part 2 which is attached to the arm in a swingable manner and has a picture display part. The swing angle of the display part 2 can be arbitrarily set with the center of gravity of the display part 2 within the range of the projection face of the pedestal 11. The pedestal main body 12 and the arm 13 can constitute a single plane, and they are rotated in this state so as to face the display part 2 in parallel, and thus the display part 2 is protected.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the fixing method having excellent mechanical strength with a relatively simple structure without generating the dead space for fixing a liquid crystal panel to the main body cover of a liquid crystal display device. SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal display device installed a liquid crystal panel 11 providing with a displaying part 11a and plural side surfaces 11b via the supporting body 13 fixed to the main body cover 14, plural projecting parts 12 projecting from the side surface 11b are provided in the liquid crystal panel 11, respective projecting parts 12 are provided with a flat surface 12a, a space 12b is provided between the flat surface 12a and the side surface 11b, and the supporting body 13 is fitted into the space 12b in the liquid crystal panel 11.
