Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solution for improving extensibility and performance of a voice browser.
SOLUTION: In a distributed voice browser, a plurality of service processors which are constituted so as to interpret analyzed voice markup language are arranged, and a plurality of voice markup language parsers, which are constituted so as to retrieve and analyze voice markup language data showing telephone service are arranged. A method for processing an active call by using the distributed voice browser can be included. The plurality of service processors and the plurality of markup language parsers can be registered in at least one session managers. As a result, constituent of received telephone service request is distributed to the voice markup language parsers, and analyzed voice markup language data can be distributed to the service processors.

Abstract: In an information processing system, a method and system are provided to perform 1/0 (Input/Output) operations for an interpretative based program (eg. a JAVA applet or application) that is executing on an Interpretative Machine (IM) ( eg. JAVA virtual machine). The method comprises the steps of: executing an interpretative based program on an Interpretative Machine (IM) ; receiving a request to pass data of unknown length out of the program; allocating a local buffer in the information processing unit to write the data of unknown length; writing the data of unknown length to the local buffer; determining the size of the data of unknown length in the local buffer; and passing the length of the data combined with the data in the buffer out of the program. This style of output conforms to http /1.0 protocol.
