Das Verwalten der Mehrzahl von mobilen Objekten kann bei der Bewegung der Mehrzahl von mobilen Objekten unterstützen. Die Ausführungsform kann ermitteln, ob es sich bei einem ersten mobilen Objekt aus der Mehrzahl von mobilen Objekten um ein echtes mobiles Objekt handelt, und zwar beruhend auf Informationen eines ersten Sensors, die von dem ersten mobilen Objekt empfangen wird. Die Ausführungsform kann von dem ersten mobilen Objekt empfangene Informationen für das Verwalten der Mehrzahl von mobilen Objekten verwenden, die sich innerhalb des geografischen Raums bewegen, und zwar beruhend auf dem Feststellen, dass es sich bei dem ersten mobilen Objekt um das echte mobile Objekt handelt.

Abstract: [Object] In a business application system, it is important to shorten a time of halt of a service due to a failure in a server, a network or the like. As current failure addressing is generally a method by failure-detection and take-over. As the failure-detection requires at least ten seconds to a few minuets, a service halt time is more than that, which causes a significant problem. [Solution] The present invention proposes a system for resending a process to a backup server farm from a client without waiting for the failure-detection, if no reply is received for a certain time. The transaction processing mechanism of the present invention has a transaction start processing mechanism in which an exclusive control using a processing authority Token and data consistency are combined, and a commit processing mechanism in which determination on whether a commit is available or not based on a distributed agreement and replication of updated data. With the mechanisms, a system for shortening a service halt time when a failure occurs to a time as such it appears to a client that the service does not stop is provided.

Abstract: To permit the movement of a mobile agent 1 and a message from a source computer 3 to a destination computer 4, regardless of the condition of the destination computer, a temporary storage area 32 (a computer 21 having a storage unit) is provided for a computer 4 that is the destination for mobile agents messages. Since the temporary storage area is provided, the movement of the agent and the transmission of the message are ensured. Also because the temporary storage area is provided, the destination computer can accept a mobile agent in accordance with the situation and the condition of the computer.

This preferential destination information designated by a user is the information representing a user's "taste" which is represented, for instance, by an agent name and a priority (or weight). It is also possible that the destination determining step comprises a step of referring to a messaging policy data defining priorities of agents to which the message can be sent. By doing so, it becomes possible to reflect a policy of a market's sponsor on message sending. Moreover, it is also possible to transform it so that a message destination is determined by referring only to a messaging policy data rather than preferential destination information designated by a user.

Als Reaktion darauf, dass der individuelle Funktionsverwendungspunktwert einen Einheitenschwellenwert überschreitet, wird eine Anforderung zum Bilden einer Einheitengruppe an die Empfängereinheit gesendet. Als Reaktion auf ein Empfangen eines Akzeptanzhinweises zum Bilden der Einheitengruppe von der empfangenden Einheit wird die Einheitengruppe für einen temporären Zeitraum gebildet, in dem Funktionen und Daten in der Einheitsgruppe gemeinsam genutzt werden.
