[PROBLEMS] To prevent information leak from a server device without lowering user-friendliness. [MEANS FOR SOLVING PROBLEMS] Provided is a system including a server device operating an application program and a client device communicating with a server device for enabling a user to use the application program. The server device includes: an output detection unit for detecting an output process as a process for outputting data from an application program to a shared region; and an output control device for storing in the shared region the instruction information indicating the acquisition method for an authorized client device to acquire the output data instead of the output data outputted from the application program according to detection of the output process. The client device includes: a read detection unit for detecting a read process as a process for reading data from the shared region and a read control unit for acquiring output data by the acquisition method specified by the instruction information.

An image display system comprises: a transmission device (PC) (10), for transmitting image data upon receiving a drawing command from an OS or an application; and a receiving monitor (40), for displaying, on a high-resolution panel (41), image data received via a monitor cable (39), wherein the transmission device (10) includes a drawing command analysis device (20), for detecting an area on a screen wherein the content is changed by the drawing command, and for employing the detected area to calculate an area to be transmitted, and a graphics card (12), for transmitting a packet that includes the calculated area to be transmitted, and control data provided as header data for the area to be transmitted, and wherein the receiving monitor (40) includes a packet reception device (50), for analyzing the header data in the received packet and for, based on the header data, rendering image data in an internally provided frame memory.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve security protection of data duplication using a common storage area.SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus 100 includes a copying operation monitor part 134 on which one or more applications 150a to 150c operate, and the copy-source application 150a acquires copy data commanding copying to a general common memory, sets a lifetime interpreted from an operation pattern passed through an input device (112, 114) for the copy data, and saves the copy data in a storage area (142, 144); a display part 138 which displays a paste candidate selected out of one or more copy data saved in the storage area on a display device; a pasting operation monitor part 136 which passes the paste candidate read in out of the storage area to the paste destination application 150c in response to determination operation performed through the input device; and an erasure part 140 which erases data having an expired lifetime and not permitted to remain from the storage area.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system and a method for providing an optimal printer system considering environmental load, a print server used in the system for providing the optimal printer system considering the environmental load, and a computer program executable in the print server.SOLUTION: A print server acquires, in a predetermined timing, unit price calculation base information including information on at least environmental load for printer systems being operated and calculates a print unit price for each of the printer systems on the basis of the acquired unit price calculation base information. The calculated print unit price is stored in association with identification information identifying the printer systems, and the print unit price and the identification information are transmitted to a client. The client receives the print unit price and the identification information, accepts a selection of one identification information item, and generates and transmits a print job which can be executed in the printer system corresponding to the selection accepted identification information.

SOLUTION: In an information processor 18 for information registration, a capture means 19 captures graphics processing instructions; a database registration means 20 registers, on a database 13, information on a series of the graphics processing instructions associated with completed work out of the captured graphics processing instructions as work completion information. In an information processor 28 for information retrieval, an advancing-work detection means 30 detects the work in advance as advancing work on the basis of the captured graphics processing instructions, and an information acquisition means 31 searches the database on the basis of the graphics processing instructions associated with the advancing work about the work completion information on the advancing work to acquire the work completion information on the advancing work. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To modify a frequency of a video clock, without affecting the quality of display. SOLUTION: A method to decrease the video clock frequency includes steps of: detecting momentum for lowering the video clock frequency; lowering the video clock frequency within a range in which a circuit using the video clock, such as a PLL (Phase-Locked Loop) circuit can track the frequency fluctuation; and repeating the step for lowering the video clock frequency, until the video clock frequency modified with the step reaches a predefined frequency. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the frequency of a video clock so as not to affect display quality by providing a step of lowering the frequency of the video clock and a step of repeating this step until the changed frequency of the video clock becomes a prescribed frequency. SOLUTION: First of all, the timing to change the frequency of the video clock (Vclk) is detected (S110). Next, it is judged from the name of an application on a window displayed on a screen whether the frequency of Vclk is changed or not (S120). Next, when changing the frequency of Vclk, there are the cases of increasing and decreasing the frequency and corresponding to the cases, processing is made different (S130). Therefore, it is reported to a user to lower the frequency of Vclk (S140). Then, processing for actually lowering the frequency of Vclk is executed (S150), it is judged whether or not processing is finished and when not finished, it is returned to S110 again (S170).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing device, a control method, and a program which can minimize a security risk.SOLUTION: When a power supply is turned on, a control unit 15 reads out a first program from a first storage unit 12, and starts the first program. According to the first program, the control unit 15 reads out identification information of an authentication device 2 attached to an attachment unit 11, refers to a table T to verify a counter value associated with the identification information of the authentication device 2 is greater than a predetermined value, and performs authentication processing with the authentication device 2. When the counter value is greater than the predetermined value and the authentication is successful, the control unit 15 reads out a second program from a second storage unit 13, and starts the second program. While running the second program, if the authentication device 2 is continuously attached to the attachment part 11, the control unit 15 subtracts the counter value associated with the unique identification information of the authentication device 2 in the table.
