The present invention relates to a cooking appliance (1), in particular for household use, comprising: - at least one cooking compartment (2) for cooking foodstuffs, said at least one cooking compartment (2) being obtained in a muffle (10) of the cooking appliance (1) and being delimited by a bottom wall (11), a back wall (12), a top wall (13), a first side wall (14) and a second side wall (15) of said muffle (10); - at least one lighting device (20) associated with said muffle (10) to allow illuminating the cooking compartment (2). The invention is characterized in that said at least one lighting device (20) is positioned substantially in proximity to a front frame (16) of the muffle (10) and in correspondence with a first upper corner (17) of said muffle (10), said at least one lighting device (20) being associated with said muffle (10) in a manner such as to generate a light beam having an axis (A) substantially directed towards a central portion of said at least one cooking compartment (2)·

The present invention relates to a cooking oven (1), in particular for household use, of the type comprising:a cabinet (2) comprising a muffle (3) adapted to be closed by a door (4), a first (5A) and a second (5B) panes adapted to create at least a first interspace (6A) in said door (4), a cooling system (10) comprising a fan (11) and a delivery duct (12) adapted to blow a forced air flow into said first interspace (6A). The invention is characterized in that said cooking oven (1) comprises fixing means (100) for snap-coupling the delivery duct (12) to a plate (50), the latter being in particular adapted to be coupled to the bottom of said delivery duct (12).

A household cooking appliance, in particular an oven, comprises a cooking chamber (6) defined by a muffle (5) having a flue with a fume outlet (7) at an upper wall (5a) of the muffle (5), and a front door (4), for opening and closing the cooking chamber (6). The appliance further comprises a delivery channel (30), defined by a duct body (10) that extends above the upper wall (5a) of the muffle (5), the duct body (10) having an outlet (30a) of the delivery channel (30) that is substantially at a front region of the appliance, above an aupper portion of the door (4), and having a fume inlet (10d) in a lower wall (10a) of the duct body (10), which is in fluid communication with the fume outlet (7) of the muffle (5) and with the delivery channel (30). Operatively associated to the duct body (10) is a ventilation assembly (20), so as to draw in fumes from the fume outlet (7) of the muffle (5) and expel them from the outlet (30a) of the delivery channel (30), the ventilation assembly (20) being in a rear end region of the duct body (10) that is generally opposite to the outlet (30a) of the delivery channel (30). The ventilation assembly comprises (20) a radial fan (21) with a centrifugal impeller (22) inside the duct body (10), the centrifugal impeller (22) being positioned above the fume inlet (10d) of the duct body (20) substantially coaxial thereto and to the fume outlet (7) of the muffle (5) in such a way that at least the fumes are drawn in from the fume outlet (7) substantially in the direction of the axis (X) of the impeller (22) and forced in a radial direction into the delivery channel (30) for being expelled from the corresponding outlet (30a). The rear end region of the duct body (10) has a generally rounded peripheral profile so as to form a volute of the radial fan (21), the duct body (10) preferably having a shape generally tapered towards its rear end region and comprising a lower half-shell (11) and an upper half-shell (12). Provided inside the duct body (10), within the boundaries of the delivery channel (30), is a flow- deflector element configured for rendering the flow forced by the centrifugal impeller into the delivery channel (30) uniform.

The invention relates to a method for fastening the seal (10) of an oven door, wherein it is applied with out using screws, rivets, adhesives or any other fastening elements. To this end, the seal can be inserted between the edge of the metal sheet of the muffle and that of a front-flange frame of the oven, or else it can be clinched by means of tabs formed in the metal sheet. The invention further comprises a seal and an oven for implementing such method.

The present invention relates to a cooking oven (1), particularly for household use, of the type that comprises: - a cabinet (2) with a muffle (3) housed therein, the latter being adapted to be closed by a door (4), - first (5A) and second (5B) panes, which are adapted to create at least one first gap (6A) in said door (4), - a cooling system (10) located above said muffle (3) and comprising a fan (11) and a delivery duct (12), which are adapted to blow a forced-air flow into said first gap (6 A); - exhaust means (20) associated with an aperture (3A) in the muffle (3), for drawing air from within said muffle (3) and exhausting it out of the oven (1). The peculiarity of the invention is that said exhaust means (20) comprise: - a first channel (21) formed on an upper portion of said delivery duct (12) and adapted to draw at least one portion of the air processed by said fan (11); - a second channel (22) for the passage of air coming from said aperture (3A), said second channel (22) comprising a first section (22A) substantially facing the fan (11) and a second section (22B) having such orientation as to lie over the first channel (21).

The invention relates to an oven comprising a muffle (1) with an external structure, in which the side panels (7,8) are fastened to a flange (41) protruding from the muffle (1). Advantageously, the flange is located on the upper (6) or the bottom wall (5) of the muffle and, at the corners, presents the folds (42) which facilitate the fixing of the folded edges to the side panels. In this way the panels are fastened directly to the muffle, avoiding fixing parts such as brackets and the like.

A door for a cooking appliance, in particular an oven, has a door frame fixed on which is a closing panel. Moreover associated to the frame, in an upper part thereof, is a handle device (10) comprising a supporting body (20), mounted on the frame above the panel, and a handle body (30), mounted movable on the supporting body (20), such that it can assume a closed position and an open position. The handle device (10) includes elastic means (50) for biasing the handle body (30) constantly towards the open position, and a catch mechanism (22), substantially of a push-push type. The handle body (30) has at least one contrast element (31), configured as a projection, and the supporting body (20) has a seat (21) for receiving a casing (23) of the catch mechanism (22). The catch mechanism (22) includes a pair of arms (22a), generally jaw-shaped, mounted with respect to the corresponding casing (23) such that, in the locking condition of the mechanism (22), the arms (22a) are set close to one another so as to withhold between them a head (31a) of the contrast element (31), and, in the release condition of the mechanism (22), the arms (22a) extend at a distance apart so as not to withhold between them the head (31a) of the contrast element (31).

The invention relates to a method for fastening an electric resistor to a muffle of an oven for household use. The method provides to fasten the resistor through support structural elements that are applied at the bottom of the muffle. To this end, the resistor is configured according to a linear, polygonal, circular, or other shape extending in a peripheral region with respect to the bottom of the muffle. The invention also relates to an oven made according to this method.
