A household cooking appliance, in particular an oven, comprises a cooking chamber (6) defined by a muffle (5) having a flue with a fume outlet (7) at an upper wall (5a) of the muffle (5), and a front door (4), for opening and closing the cooking chamber (6). The appliance further comprises a delivery channel (30), defined by a duct body (10) that extends above the upper wall (5a) of the muffle (5), the duct body (10) having an outlet (30a) of the delivery channel (30) that is substantially at a front region of the appliance, above an aupper portion of the door (4), and having a fume inlet (10d) in a lower wall (10a) of the duct body (10), which is in fluid communication with the fume outlet (7) of the muffle (5) and with the delivery channel (30). Operatively associated to the duct body (10) is a ventilation assembly (20), so as to draw in fumes from the fume outlet (7) of the muffle (5) and expel them from the outlet (30a) of the delivery channel (30), the ventilation assembly (20) being in a rear end region of the duct body (10) that is generally opposite to the outlet (30a) of the delivery channel (30). The ventilation assembly comprises (20) a radial fan (21) with a centrifugal impeller (22) inside the duct body (10), the centrifugal impeller (22) being positioned above the fume inlet (10d) of the duct body (20) substantially coaxial thereto and to the fume outlet (7) of the muffle (5) in such a way that at least the fumes are drawn in from the fume outlet (7) substantially in the direction of the axis (X) of the impeller (22) and forced in a radial direction into the delivery channel (30) for being expelled from the corresponding outlet (30a). The rear end region of the duct body (10) has a generally rounded peripheral profile so as to form a volute of the radial fan (21), the duct body (10) preferably having a shape generally tapered towards its rear end region and comprising a lower half-shell (11) and an upper half-shell (12). Provided inside the duct body (10), within the boundaries of the delivery channel (30), is a flow- deflector element configured for rendering the flow forced by the centrifugal impeller into the delivery channel (30) uniform.

The present invention relates to a domestic cooking oven (1 ) comprising an external bearing structure (2), a muffle (3) defining a cooking chamber and housed inside the external bearing structure (2) and a door (4) for accessing the cooking chamber. The muffle (3) comprises one or more flanges (10) and the oven (1) comprises one or more fixing brackets (20) configured to constrain the muffle (3) to the external bearing structure (2). The fixing brackets (20) are welded to the respective flanges (10) of the muffle (3), in particular through spot welding, and are engaged with the external bearing structure (2).

The invention relates to an oven comprising a muffle (1) with an external structure, in which the side panels (7,8) are fastened to a flange (41) protruding from the muffle (1). Advantageously, the flange is located on the upper (6) or the bottom wall (5) of the muffle and, at the corners, presents the folds (42) which facilitate the fixing of the folded edges to the side panels. In this way the panels are fastened directly to the muffle, avoiding fixing parts such as brackets and the like.

The invention relates to a method for fastening an electric resistor to a muffle of an oven for household use. The method provides to fasten the resistor through support structural elements that are applied at the bottom of the muffle. To this end, the resistor is configured according to a linear, polygonal, circular, or other shape extending in a peripheral region with respect to the bottom of the muffle. The invention also relates to an oven made according to this method.

Described herein is a method for manufacturing a household cooking appliance, in particular an oven, having a muffle (5) defining a cooking chamber. The method comprises the steps of: a) providing the muffle (5); b) providing a channelling (10) for conveying air; c) associating to a rear wall (5c) of the muffle (5) a first fan (30) for ventilation of the cooking chamber; d) associating to the channelling (10) a second fan (20) for forcing air into the channelling (10); e) associating the channelling (10) to an upper wall (5a) of the muffle (5). Step b) comprises the operation of shearing from a semi-finished product of a metal component (10a) of the channelling (10) a corresponding portion (40), so as to define an opening (23) for installation of the second fan (20). Step c) comprises the operation of using the portion (40) sheared from the semi¬ finished product of the metal component (10a) of the channelling (10) as a bracket for fixing the first fan (30) to the rear wall (5c) of the muffle (5).
