Abstract:
A method for drying laundry by means of a household appliance (1 ) comprising an outer shell (5) that contains delimiting means (34) for delimiting an inner laundry drying compartment (3), the compartment (3), in turn, containing a rotating drum (4) for holding the laundry. The method comprises a stage that determines a condensation of at least part of the moisture present in the compartment (3) on at least a portion of the delimiting means (34), said moisture being determined by the wet laundry placed in the drum (4). The stage that determines the condensation of the moisture, in turn, comprises the stages of: introducing a flow of air inside the shell (5), having it travel through at least one inlet opening (21 ) afforded in a front wall (51 ) of the outer shell (5); conveying the flow of air from the inlet opening (21 ) to at least one outlet opening (22) located in a rear or side wall (52, 53, 54) of the shell (5); the stage of conveying the air flow comprises the stage of the flow of air flowing against said delimiting means (34) so as to determine a cooling thereof; the stage of flowing against the delimiting means (34) provides that the air flow come into contact with the delimiting means (34) externally of the compartment (3), but internally of the shell (5); having said flow of air flow outside the shell (5), having it travel through at least said outlet opening (22).
Abstract:
A front-loading laundry washing and drying machine, comprises: a cabinet (2) having a front wall, a rear wall, two side walls (5a, 5b) and an upper wall, the cabinet (2) housing an oscillating assembly that comprises a treatment tub (14) having a substantially horizontal longitudinal axis (A); a drying circuit comprising a heat pump inside the cabinet (2), the heat pump including an evaporator device, a condenser device, a compressor, and a fan for forcing a flow of air through the evaporator device and the condenser device. At least the evaporator device and the condenser device are housed inside the cabinet (2) above the treatment tub (14), the evaporator device and the condenser device each including a heat exchanger (122, 123) having a body configured for being traversed by the forced flow of air. The heat exchanger (122, 123) of at least one of the evaporator device and the condenser device is set inside the cabinet (2) in a lateral area (S) that is comprised between a first side wall (5a) of the cabinet (2) and a median vertical plane (P1) of the treatment tub (14) that contains the corresponding longitudinal axis (A). The heat exchanger (122, 123) of the at least one of the evaporator device (122) and the condenser device (123) is set in the aforesaid lateral area according to a plane of lie (P4, P5) generally inclined with respect to a horizontal plane.
Abstract:
The invention relates to a household washing appliance, such as a washing machine (1), a washing/drying machine, a dishwasher or the like, equipped with a steam generator (15) which is used for the steps of washing and drying the load, such as laundry and crockery; the household appliance is also equipped with an external takeoff that allows connecting the steam generator to the outside, so that the produced steam can also be used for other household activities, such as ironing, cleaning, disinfecting, and the like.
