Abstract: Generator signals are generated by unit (10), providing signals with certain signal form determined in dependence on preset signal norm form. Matching unit (20) adapts generated signal form to properties of signal transmission channel. Signal matching and generating units are of digital type.

Abstract: A phase-monitoring circuit (18) generates a phase difference signal to show the phase difference between a received signal and a regenerated output signal for a phase locked loop (PLL) circuit (17). A loop filter (1) filters the phase difference signal that has been generated. An oscillator (27) controlled by the filtered phase difference signal generates an output signal for the PLL circuit. Independent claims are also included for the following: (a) A method for eliminating inherent jitter in a signal received from a control circuit; (b) and for a signal processor for carrying out the method of the present invention.
