Abstract: A load-driving circuit, especially designed for driving an inductive load, has a first switch (T1) having a control (gate) terminal (G) and a load circuit (D-S) which is connected so that a first terminal (KL1) of the load (L) can be connected to a terminal for a first supply voltage potential (+U). A second switch (S2) is connected so that the first terminal (KL1) of the load (L) can be connected to a terminal for a reference (earth) potential (M), where the control (gate) terminal (SK) is supplied with a first control/drive signal (IN). A second control/drive signal (ST1), dependent on the load circuit signal (US2) of the second switch (S2), is supplied to the control (gate) terminal (G) of the first switch (T1).
