Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor control unit capable of effectively processing an error occurring during the operation of an electric motor. SOLUTION: A first motor control signal, which is derived from sensor data detected by a sensor 12 to achieve a target state, is used, and a safety means 18, which generates a second motor control signal when an error occurs, is used to set a motor controlled by a control means 14 to be set in a halt state simply and effectively, when the error occurs. Accordingly, the basic concept is to consciously cope with troubles, without using components that incorporate overlapping functions and to incorporate an appropriate fallback solution into the concept as a whole. Abstract:
A transceiver includes bidirectional internal interface lines 24, 25, 26, 27, that can be connected between a transceiver package 1 and an integrated circuit 36. The transceiver package comprises quadrature modulation device 3 and quadrature demodulation device 2. The IC comprises baseband circuitry 39, analog to digital converter 37 and digital to analog convertor 38. The transceiver may be switched between a transmit and receive mode by the baseband circuit via control line 71 such that: in a transmit mode the modulation device 3 is connected to the IC by the interface lines; and in a receive mode demodulation device 2 is connected. The use of bidirectional interface lines reduces interference and aids miniaturisation as four interface lines are required instead of eight.

The bandpass filter circuit has at least 2 bandpass filters (1,2) with their outputs coupled together to provide the circuit output (3), which are preceded by an IC device (7) with respective signal paths (41,51) for each of the bandpass filters, coupled to a control circuit (6), for switching the input signal to one or other of the bandpass filters. Each of the signal paths may have an output stage (4,5), e.g. having a difference amplifier and an emitter follower, with its supply current feed (61,62) selectively switched on or off by the control circuit.

Abstract:
A reference stage is provided in order to compensate for manufacturing tolerances, for example relating to the threshold voltage of a transistor. This reference stage has a transistor which is a physical equivalent of the transistor to be trimmed in a radio-frequency amplifier stage. In particular, this reference transistor has the same electrical direct current characteristics as the amplifier transistor. A reference voltage can be tapped off across a resistor on the reference stage and can be supplied to a control amplifier which uses this reference voltage to set the operating point of the radio-frequency amplifier transistor such that manufacturing tolerances are compensated for. Such radio-frequency power amplifiers are used, for example, as transmit amplifiers in mobile radios.
Abstract:
The device (10) has a sensor (12) for outputting sensor data and a control unit (14) determining nominal condition of a motor. The control unit produces control signals for controlling the motor based on deviation of actual condition of the motor. A monitoring unit (16) outputs error signals during malfunction of the sensor. A safety unit (18) produces alternative motor control signals for controlling the motor in a quiescent state. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for controlling a motor (2) a computer program product with a computer program for performing the method for controlling the motor.
