Abstract:
The invention relates to a method and a device for reconstructing data pulsed with a symbol rate from a signal which was distorted as a result of transmission over a transmission link, wherein the inventive method or the device is preponderantly carried out by means of digital circuit technology or consists of said technology and is designed to improve the quality of data retrieval. The inventive method involves amplifying the signal amplitude attenuated by the transmission; filtering high frequency noise frequencies above the symbol rate; discretizing the analog signal by means of an analog/digital converter (3); executing cable approximation by means of a digitally configured cable approximation filter (7) in order to obtain an equalized signal and recovering the data from the equalized signal using a phase locking loop (20).
Abstract:
The invention relates to a method for retrieving a digital data stream (301) according to which a reference pulse phase (308) is retrieved from the digital data stream (301). Said digital data stream (301) is received in a data stream receiver (302) and is low-pass filtered in a low-pass filtering device (303). An edge position signal (309) is determined in an edge position detection device (304), through comparison of an amplitude of the low-pass filtered data stream (305) with a settable threshold value (108). A phase deviation (111a) is determined in a phase correction system (307) from a time difference between a 0/1-threshold value intersecting point (109) of the threshold value (108) with a 0/1- data transfer (101) or a 1/1-threshold value intersecting point (110) of the threshold value (108) with a 1/1 data transfer (102) and the target time of the control (310), so that the phase deviation (111a) can be corrected with the phase correction offset (111b) in the phase correction system (307).
Abstract:
The arrangement comprises a data interface (103), which has a data input for accepting a data packets from a synchronous network (101) is connected to the data input. A network terminal (104) and a packet oriented synchronous data circuit (105) is extended between the data interface and the network terminal. The data interface is formed to transfer the clock of the data circuit from the clock of the synchronous network. An independent claim is also included for a method for generating a clock for a packet oriented, synchronous data link.
Abstract:
The signal attenuated by transmission, is amplified. Noise, comprising high frequencies above the symbolic transmission rate, is filtered out. The analog signal is made discrete using a high sampling rate ADC (3). Cable approximation is carried out, using a digitally-implemented cable approximation filter (7), to obtain a reconstituted signal. The original data is recovered from it. An Independent claim is included for the signal restoration equipment
Abstract:
A method and a device for reconstructing data, clocked at a symbol rate, from a signal which has been distorted by transmission of a transmission link, are disclosed. The method or respectively, the device, being predominantly performed or implemented, respectively, by means of digital circuit technology in order to improve the quality of the data recovery. The method includes amplifying the signal amplitude attenuated by the transmission; filtering high-frequency interference frequencies above the symbol rate; discretizing the analog signal by means of an analog/digital converter; performing a cable approximation by means of a digitally implemented cable approximation filter in order to obtain an equalized signal; and recovering the data from the equalized signal by means of a phase-locked loop.
