Abstract: A decision-feedback (DF) comment contains information on an interference channel (IC) and amounts to a product acquired from a symbol and an IC parameter or a total of such products. The DF comment also includes service channel information. A Viterbi equalization is carried out through processing a trellis diagram for the IC so as to calculate the IC's information. An independent claim is also included for a decision-feedback equalizer for equalizing a signal transmitted over a service channel.
