Abstract:
The disclosure generally relates to a method and apparatus for energy harvest from a proximity coupling device (PCD) by a proximity integrated circuit card. In one embodiment, the PICC includes an integrated BLE. The BLE may be exclusively charged by the external magnetic field received from the PCD. The PCD may be configured to detect when the PICC is nearby and increase its duty cycle to thereby increase the magnetic field imposed on the PICC. The PICC may include circuitry to receive and convert the magnetic field to electric potential or voltage. The voltage may be store at a capacitor for BLE's usage.
Abstract:
Described herein are techniques related to one or more systems, apparatuses, methods, etc. for implementing a wireless charging and a wireless connectivity combo in a device. The device comprises a coupler antenna configured to facilitate receiving or transmitting a data signal, a wireless communication module configured to process the data signal, and a filter unit that couples the coupler antenna to the wireless communication module, the filter unit comprising a capacitor that provides an impedance to the data signal and a charging power, respectively.
Abstract:
Described herein are techniques related one or more systems, apparatuses, methods, etc. for a wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) based wireless docking in an enterprise environment. In an implementation, a separate low radiating antenna is constructed and installed at a bottom surface of a wireless device and at a docking surface of a docking station. In this implementation, the low radiating antenna is configured to provide local wireless communication (i.e., Wi-Fi based communication) between a docking pair that includes the wireless device and the docking station.
Abstract:
This document discloses one or more systems, apparatuses, methods, etc. for integrating a spiral near field communications (NFC) coil antenna to a portable device for consistent coupling with different tags and devices.
Abstract:
This document discloses one or more systems, apparatuses, methods, etc. for implementing an echo cancellation algorithm for long delayed echo that is created during a wire or wireless voice communications. In an implementation, a WiDi feature in a device during the wire or wireless voice communications may add an additional echo delay in addition to channel multipath delay when an audio sound signal travels from a WiDi component to a microphone of the device. In this implementation, a separate delay estimator is configured to estimate total delay. The estimated total delay is fed back to an adoptive filter component for long delay echo cancellation.
