    Abstract: Una unidad inalámbrica de transmisión/recepción (WTRU) y un método utilizado en una WTRU para controlar un flujo de datos conmutados en paquete (PS) de comunicación inalámbrica entre un controlador de enlace de radio (RLC) y una retransmisión de protocolo de Internet (IPR). Un componente de Gestor de Portador de Acceso/Protocolo de Convergencia de Datos de Paquete (RABM/PDCP) combinado provee control de interfase con un gestor de sesión (SM) y un centro de recursos de radio (RRC) de manera que el procesamiento de datos PS y el control de cada RAB esté asociado con el procesamiento de datos PS de un solo portador de radio (RB).
