Abstract: A lift installation with a lift cage (5), which moves in a lift shaft (4) wi th shaft doors and which has at least one cage apron (8, 9) arranged parallel to the plane of t he shaft wall (3) at the shaft door side, comprises a device for reducing noises generated by the air flow arising between the shaft wall (3) and the cage apron (8, 9), wherein the device comprises sound-absorbing means (8.3, 8.3.1, 8.3.2, 8.3.3, 8.4), which are mounted in the region of the cage apron, for reducing noises.
