    Abstract: Una pistola de soldadura láser (12) accionable manualmente para unir dos o más piezas de metal superpuestas, que comprende: una columna de soporte alargada (50) que se extiende a lo largo de un eje longitudinal (A-A); un cabezal óptico (62) axialmente desplazable a lo largo de la columna de soporte (50) y provisto de ópticas que están configuradas para enfocar un rayo láser a lo largo de un recorrido a través de una ventana protectora del cabezal óptico (62) en una zona de soldadura, un primer brazo (46) montado en la columna de soporte (50) a lo largo de la trayectoria de la corriente inferior desde la ventana protectora y acoplado al cabezal óptico (62) para moverse axialmente entre una posición inicial y una posición de soldadura en la que el brazo (46) presiona contra una de las piezas de metal a fin de encerrar la zona de soldadura para evitar que la emisión del láser escape fuera de la zona de soldadura durante la misma, caracterizado en que el primer brazo (46) está estructurado con una superficie periférica interior que define un túnel alargado (75) configurado con extremos abiertos de la corriente superior e inferior, estando el túnel (75) configurado para ser atravesado axialmente por el rayo láser, una primera corriente que fluye axialmente de un medio gaseoso presurizado, y una segunda corriente que fluye axialmente de un medio gaseoso a una segunda presión más baja que la de la primera corriente, seleccionándose la segunda presión para evitar la formación de vórtices de aire; y una primera fuente de vacío (100) en comunicación fluida con el extremo de corriente inferior del túnel (75) y operable para extraer las primeras y segundas corrientes del túnel (75) al generar un gradiente de presión entre los extremos de las corrientes superior e inferior del túnel (75) de modo que los restos de soldadura dentro del túnel (75) salen del extremo de corriente inferior del túnel con la primera y segunda corrientes.

    Abstract: A hand displaceable laser welding gun is configured with an elongated support column extending along a longitudinal axis and made from lightweight material. A support plate is displaceably mounted to the column while supporting thereon an optical head which is provided with beam- guiding optics. The optics is configured to direct a laser beam along a path towards a welding zone through a protective window of the optical head. The laser welding gun further is structured with a first arm mounted to the support plate and extending along a longitudinal axis of the gun diametrically opposite to the optical head. The inner surface of the displaceable arm has an inner surface defining a tunnel which is aligned with the optical head and axially traversed by the laser beam , a first axially flowing stream of pressurized gaseous medium , and a second axially flowing stream of gaseous medium. The second stream, entering the tunnel at a pressure lower than that one of the first stream in response to a pressure gradient generated in the column, does not generate vortexes within the column. The first and second streams exit through the downstream end of the tunnel next to the welding zone. As the streams flow out, they carry out welding debris flowing within the tunnel before the debris reach the protective window of the optical head.

    Abstract: Una pistola de soldadura láser desplazable manualmente está configurada con una columna de soporte alargada que se extiende a lo largo de un eje longitudinal y está hecha a partir de material de peso ligero. Una placa de soporte está montada de manera desplazable en la columna mientras soporta sobre la misma un cabezal óptico que está provisto de una óptica de guía de rayos. La óptica está configurada para dirigir un rayo láser a lo largo de una trayectoria hacia una zona de soldadura a través de una ventana de protección del cabezal óptico. La pistola de soldadura láser también está estructurada con un primer brazo montado en la placa de soporte y que se extiende a lo largo de un eje longitudinal de la pistola diametralmente opuesto al cabezal óptico. La superficie interna del brazo desplazable tiene una superficie interna que define un túnel que está alineado con el cabezal óptico y axialmente atravesado por el rayo láser, una primera corriente que fluye axialmente de medio gaseoso presurizado, y una segunda corriente que fluye axialmente de medio gaseoso. La segunda corriente, que entra en el túnel a una presión menor que la de la primera corriente en respuesta a un gradiente de presión generado en la columna, no genera vórtices dentro de la columna. La primera y segunda corrientes salen a través del extremo aguas abajo del túnel a continuación de la zona de soldadura.
