Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent occurrence of leakage of painting from pinhole by weaving a shielding wire in a coating hose for electrostatic coating, and at the same time, providing overcurrent detecting device and thereby concentrating the electric field between the coating in the hose and external grounding material. CONSTITUTION:An insulating painting hose 1 that connects a spray gun 4 for electrostatic painting and a paint tank 5 is made up of a painting hose body 1' made of highly insulating member such as polyethylene etc. a shielding member 2 provided its outer periphery and made of woven metal and a protecting covering layer 3 made of polyurethane etc. An overcurrent detector 6 is installed between the body of spray gun and grounding potential (a). This painting hose rarely causes leakage of paint due to defective insulation. However, if, by any chance, breakage of insulation should occur, current flows through the detector 6 and an alarm is given by an alarm system connected to the detector 6. At the same time, power source of a high voltage generating device 7 is cut off to prevent discharge to outside, and also to protect workers from receiving an electric shock.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the efficiency of painting work by juxtaposing spray guns for spraying conducting agents to the engaging parts for hangers vulnerable to the occurrence of grounding fauls. CONSTITUTION:Spray guns 3, 3' for conducting agents are mounted in the upper and lower parts of a stay 1 for mounting of guns. The gun 3 is located to face the vicinity of the uniform connecting part A between the bottom end of a primary hanger 4 and the bottom end of a secondary hanger 5 on the substrate side. The gun 3' is located to face the vicinity of the connecting part B between the bottom end of the hanger 5 and the substrate 6. The ends of air hoses 7, 7' for spraying and working connected to the guns 3, 3' are connected to the solenoid valves in a control section 9 which controls the valves by receiving the NG signal indicating the grounding fault in a detecting part 8 for grounding faults. Hoses 10, 10' for conducting agents are connected to a tank 11 for force feeding of conducting agents.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To make the sure detection of electric discharge possible by installing antennas in places opposite to the connecting parts of hangers and substrates vulnerable to generation of electric discharge. CONSTITUTION:A conveyor line 1 consists of primary hangers 2 suspended from the line and secondary hangers 4 for suspending substrates 3 wherein the top ends of the latter are detained to the bottom ends of the former. Bar antennas 5, 5' are provided in part of the conveyor line traveling in a painting booth 4 and are formed of metallic bars installed on the side of an electrostatic gun 7 and behind the same on the opposite side in the position of the connecting part (a) between the hangers 2 and the hangers 3 and in the position of the connecting part (b) between the hangers 4 and the substrates 3. Shielded cables 8 are connected to the antennas 5, 5', and the leading ends of the cables are connected to a detector 9. The detector 9 is connected to an electric power source 11 via a noise filter 10.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To detect the grounding defect with a high reliability, by combining a primary grounding defect detecting part, a grounding defect recovering device, and a secondary grounding defect detecting part. CONSTITUTION:An electrode 4 of a primary grounding defect detecting part 3 is provided in the side part of a conveyor line 1. A spray gun 6 of a grounding defect recovering device 5 which is operated by a detection signal is arranged following the primary grounding defect detecting part 3, and an electrode 8 of a secondary grounding defect detecting part 7 is arranged following this spray gun 6. A high voltage power source 10 is connected to the secondary grounding defect detecting part 7, and a high voltage power source 9 is connected to the primary grounding defect detecting part 3, and a controlling part 11 is connected to high voltage power sources 9 and 10.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the safety, by leading the earth current, which is flowed to a high resistance mounted on the leg part of the insulating table of a paint tank, to a current detection controlling circuit and detecting the change of the current value to discriminate the abnormality. CONSTITUTION:A high voltage cable 2 is connected to a high voltage generator 1, and an electrostatic gun 3 is connected to the tip of the high voltage cable 2. The base end of a paint hose 4 connected to the electrostatic gun 3 is connected to a paint tank 5, and the paint tank 5 is put on an insulating table 6, and a leg part 6a of the insulating table 6 is provided with a high resistance earth part 7' having a high resistance 7. A current detection controlling circuit 8 is connected to the high resistance earth part 7'.

A shield cable 4 is connected to a high voltage generator body 3a, and a detector 5 is connected to the tip of the shield cable 4. In the detector 5, the input is inputted to a comparing circuit 7 to which the output of a setting circuit 6 is led, and a line stop output 9, a caution level alarm output 10, and a safe level display output 11 are obtained from the comparing circuit 7 through an amplifying circuit 8.
