PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a formation method of pixel pattern by which, if a dye or a lake pigment is used as a colorant, the excellent chromaticity characteristic of the dye is sufficiently exhibited.SOLUTION: A formation method of pixel pattern includes steps of: (1) forming a coating film of a colored radiation-sensitive composition containing at least one type selected from the group consisting of a dye and a lake pigment, on a substrate and (2) exposing at least part of the coating film with ultraviolet LED.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coloring composition which is suitable for mass production of color filters and contains a halogenated zinc phthalocyanine pigment. SOLUTION: The coloring composition contains (A) a coloring agent, (B) a binder resin, (C) a polyfunctional monomer, and (D) a solvent. The coloring agent (A) contains halogenated zinc phthalocyanine. The solvent (D) contains at least one type chosen from the group consisting of (d1) propylene glycol monomethyl ether acetate, ethyl 3-ethoxypropionate and 3-methoxybutyl acetate, and a solvent with a larger solubility parameter than that of (d2) ethyl 3-ethoxypropionate, the content of the solvent with the larger solubility parameter than that of (d2) ethyl 3-ethoxypropionate being 5-60 mass% in the total solvent. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cyclic olefin copolymer moldable by solution casting method or the like because of being good in solubility to hydrocarbon solvent, having especially low coefficient of linear expansion and good in dimensional stability while meeting high transparency, heat resistance, chemical resistance, mechanical strengths and low water-absorbing tendency at high levels, to provide a method for producing the copolymer, to provide a crosslinkable composition containing the copolymer, to provide a crosslinked form obtained by crosslinking the composition, and to provide a method for producing such a crosslinked form. SOLUTION: The cyclic olefin copolymer is composed of structural units derived from a cyclic olefin compound having only cyclic structure and structural units derived from a cyclic olefin compound having hydrolyzable silyl group. This copolymer, with no substantial composition distribution, is obtained by addition polymerization using a specific catalytic system. The crosslinkable composition is obtained by compounding the copolymer with an acid generator. The crosslinked form with a residual solvent content of lower than 1.0 wt.% and a coefficient of linear expansion of ≤45 ppm/°C is obtained by crosslinking the composition. SOLUTION: A monomer composition containing 10-90 mol% 5-alkylbicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene having a 10-12C alkyl group and 10-90 mol% bicyclo[2.2.1]hept-2-ene is subjected to an addition copolymerization using a catalyst containing a particular palladium compound. A highly economic method for preparing the cyclic olefin addition copolymer excellent in melt-molding processability, transparency, etc., with high productivity, the cyclic olefin addition copolymer showing high transparency, high heat resistance, high melt-molding processability, a low water-absorbing property, a low dielectric constant and a low metal content, and a film, sheet or an optical material obtained by molding the cyclic olefin addition copolymer are provided.
