    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide a thermoplastic resin composition excellent in heat resistance, impact resistance and moldability. CONSTITUTION:The title composition comprises 5-95wt.% polycarbonate resin and 95-5wt.% thermoplastic copolyester resin having a relative viscosity of 1.8-3.2, the thermoplastic copolyester resin being a polymer obtained from terephthalic acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof and a hydrogenated dimer acid or an ester-forming derivative thereof as the acid component and 1,4-butanediol as the glycol component.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To enhance the magnetic characteristic of a plastic magnet and to enhance the molten fluidity at a molding operation by a method wherein a prescribed magnetic powder is filled into a thermoplastic resin. CONSTITUTION:The surface of a Nd-Fe-B-based magnetic powder is coated with a metal by a dry plating method or an electroless plating method. Then, 90 to 95wt.% of the Nd-Fe-B-based magnetic powder coated with the metal is mixed with 5 to 10wt.% of a thermoplastic resin. In addition, in order to enhance physical properties and fluidity, the magnetic powder is surface-treated in advance with a coupling agent when it is mixed. When it is filled, a lubricant, a thermal stabilizer, a pigment or the like may be used. Thereby, it is possible to enhance the characteristic of a product such as a component or the like for a motor and a magnetic-field generation apparatus.

CONSTITUTION:(A) 100 pts.wt. polybutylene terephthalate resin is mixed with (B) 1-20 pts.wt. bisphenol S diglycidyl ether expressed by the formula derived from reaction of bisphenol S obtained by condensation reaction of, e.g. phenol and sulfuric acid and epichlorohydrin in the presence of sodium hydroxide and an additive such as fibrous reinforcing agent, filler, electroconductive filler or fire retardant is added, as necessary, then blended in melting to an uniform mixture to afford the aimed thermoplastic polyester resin composition.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve the antihydrolysis performance, reduce the reduction of strength, and improve polishing faculty by mixing 0.1 - 6 wt. parts epoxy compound and 10 - 200 wt. parts alumina having an average particle diameter of 10 mum or less into 100 wt. parts thermoplastic polyester resin. CONSTITUTION:0.1 - 6 wt. parts epoxy compound and 10 - 200 wt. parts alumina having an average particle diameter of 10 mum or less are mixed into 100 wt. parts thermoplastic polyester resin, and a desired projection member for humid blast is obtained. Accordingly, the projection member for humid blast possesses the superior hydrolysis faculty, and the reduction of strength due to the humid blast work is little, and further, since fine alumina is uniformly dispersed, the superior polishing faculty is obtained, and the outside appearance of the resin molded article can be favorably maintained, and the projection member suitable for fine humid blast work can be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the title composition having a high specific gravity, excellent melt flow and good moldability by mixing a thermoplastic resin with a large amount of a tungsten powder and a small amount of a saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid compound. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic resin (e.g. polyamide, polyester or polyphenylene sulfide) is mixed with 90-98wt.% tungsten powder (desirably of a mean particle diameter of 50mum) and 0.01-0.5wt.% saturated aliphatic carboxylic acid compound of the formula (wherein m is 20-32; n is 1 or 2; and R is an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal or an aliphatic hydrocarbon group) to obtain a thermoplastic resin composition. This composition has a very high specific gravity, excellent moldability and excellent properties, so that it is desirable as a molding material for electrical components and machine parts where high specific gravity and dimensional accuracy are required.
