Abstract: PURPOSE:To schedule a production in accordance with the supply schedule of materials by providing a means to calculate the day when materials can be used, a means to calculate the earliest day when production is possible, and a means to make the production plan so that the operating ratio is highest. CONSTITUTION:An operation terminal 4 consisting of a central processing unit 1, a CRT display device 3, a keyboard and mouse 2 is provided, and a means which calculates the day when materials can be used, a means which calculates the earliest day when production is possible with respect to a kind of product, and a means which schedules the production so that the operating ratio of a production equipment is highest are provided. In this case, the day when materials can be supplied and the quantity of these materials are calculated on the time base based on the total stock of materials and the warehousing schedule of materials, and they are calculated with respect to all materials, and thereafter, the earliest day when production is possible is calculated with respect to a noticed kind of product. That is, the day when materials to be used can be used is automatically calculated based on the use schedule and ordering conditions of individual materials. Consequently, the production plan is most efficiently made in accordance with the supply schedule of materials.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To make a local data base(DB) system able to maintain the same latest DB file as a central DB system. CONSTITUTION: This distributed DB system 10 is composed of the central DB system 11 and the plural local DB systems 13 connected to the central DB system 11 through a communication channel 12 whose data transmission speed id relatively slow such as a public telephone liner or the like. When a member number which does not exist on a local DB is generated at the time of the input of ordered member data in the local DB system 13, a retrieval command is prepared and transmitted to the central DB system 11. Then, a center side server 11a performs retrieval corresponding to the retrieval command. the member number and member data corresponding to it are transmitted to the local DB system 13 and a local side server 13a updates data based on the member data.

Abstract: PURPOSE: To shorten specification preparation time, to simplify a printing procedure and to prepare specifications on the site by registering required information among product and parts information registered in a data base in addition to product and parts numbers. CONSTITUTION: From a product number data base 7 for storing the product numbers to be individually imparted to respective products and information related to the products corresponding to the product numbers and a parts number data base 5 for storing the parts numbers to be individually imparted to respective parts and the information related to the parts corresponding to the parts numbers, the information required for the specification is extracted and registered in a specification data base 2 at the time of establishing the specification. Then, a specification preparation part 9 inputs a specification name, retrieves the specification data base 2 by the product number and the parts number registered in a specification name file 10, extracts the information corresponding to the product number or the parts number and prepares the specification. Thus, even when the data bases 5 and 7 can not be accessed, the printing of the complete specification is made possible.
