Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a sheet for cleaning excellent in surface strength without causing the falling off of fibers at the time of cleaning and excellent in properties of collecting dust such as hair according to a low-cost and simple method for production. SOLUTION: This sheet for cleaning comprises a layer forming at least a cleaning surface and comprising a nonwoven fabric formed by thermally fusing a fibrous web prepared by mixing thermally fusible fibers with thermally nonfusible fibers without fusing at a temperature within the range of a fusing temperature of the thermally fusible fibers at a temperature within the range of the fusing temperature of the thermally fusible fibers. The nonwoven fabric has 0.15-0.95 N/(13 mm×30 mm) shearing peel force of a mechanical fastener expressed in terms of average value of 5-point average load of a peeling mode measurement.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article with excellent smoothness and softness, excellent in concealing the color of excrement absorbed in an absorber. SOLUTION: This absorbent article has a top sheet made of a nonwoven fabric comprising a first layer as the front surface layer and a second layer disposed adjacently to the first layer. The diameters of fibers constituting the first layer is 11-18 μm and the diameters of fibers constituting the second layer are 19-31 μm. The weighing of the first and second layers is 7-30 g/m 2 , respectively, and the total weighing of the nonwoven fabric is 14-60 g/m 2 . The nonwoven fabric is disposed so that the first layer side faces the skin of a user. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article capable of improving hand such as softness, bulkiness and smoothness, or the like.
SOLUTION: This absorbent article has a top sheet made of a nonwoven fabric obtained by the air-through method. The nonwoven fabric is disposed so that a hot-air blow surface of the fabric faces the skin of a user, and the diameters of fibers constituting the hot-wind blow surface are 11-18μm. In this case, it is preferable that the nonwoven fabric has a first layer including the hot-air blow surface with the diameters of the constituting fibers being 11-18μm and a second layer disposed adjacently to the first layer with the diameters of the constituting fibers being 19-31μm.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonwoven fabric good in touch, good in productivity, and useful as a material for the depression members of mechanical fasteners by blending different kinds of thermally fusible fibers which are difficult in mutual fusion. SOLUTION: This nonwoven fabric is obtained by blending sheath-core type conjugate fibers A containing polyethylene terephthalate as a core component and a different component selected from the group of low melting point polypropylene, polyethylene and a low melting point polyester and difficult to fuse to the core component, e.g. the polyethylene, as a sheath component with sheath-core conjugate fibers B containing the polyethylene terephthalate as a core component and, e.g. polypropylene, as a sheath component, forming a card web from the blend, and subsequently processing the card web into the nonwoven fabric 1. The mutual intersections (a) of the fibders A and the mutual intersections (b) of the fibers B, respectively, are strongly fused in the nonwoven fabric. Further, non-fused intersections (c) in which the different fibers are overlapped and intersected each other without being fused and/or intersections (d) in which the different fibers are weakly fused each other are formed in the nonwoven fabric. Thus, many meshes A', B' and C' are formed in deformable and expandable states, respectively, in the nonwoven fabric 1.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nonwoven fabric excellent in feeling and dust collecting power and further in productivity, producible at a reduced cost and having a fine fiber structure. SOLUTION: This nonwoven fabric contains a conjugate fiber 1 composed of plural low melting bodies consisting of a low melting component and plural high melting bodies 3 consisting of a high melting component in an amount of >=20wt.% and formed by thermobonding. In the nonwoven fabric, the conjugate fiber 1 consists of composite parts A where molten low melting components 2' and high melting bodies 3 are integrated in the longitudinal direction and fiber split parts B where at least a part of low melting bodies and the high melting bodies 3 are peeled at surfaces, in a mixed state.
