Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a composition excellent in storage stability on the compounding of a detergent and in solubility under bleaching conditions and high in the content of the bleach-activating agent in a high density substantially without decomposing the bleach-activating agent by adding a specific surfactant or a salt, and an acid to the aqueous solution of the bleach-activating agent and subsequently drying the mixture. SOLUTION: The aqueous solution of (A) a bleach-activating agent such as tetraacetylethylenediamine, glucose pentaacetate or tetraacetylglycolurll is mixed with (B1 ) an anionlc surfactant such as an alkylbenzene sulfonate salt or (B2 ) a water-soluble salt such as ammonium sulfate, (C) an acid (e.g. an acid having a pKa of 1-7, concretely succinic acid), and, if necessary, (D) a water-soluble binder such as polyethylene glycol, and subsequently dried by a spray-drying method, etc., to obtain the composition e.g. comprising 40-80wt.% of the component A, 2-30wt.% of the component B1 or B2 , 2-30wt.% of the component C and 0-20wt.% of the component D.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject faintly colored compound having high quality with a simple apparatus while suppressing the production of by-product by removing the hydration water of a phenolsulfonic acid salt hydrate in a specific solvent. CONSTITUTION:Hydrated phenolsulfonic acid salt is dehydrated by heating in a solvent having a solubility parameter of 7.5-13 (e.g. xylene), thereby distilling out the hydration water together with the solvent at 70-220 deg.C. The amount of the solvent is 1-10 pts.wt. based on 1 pt.wt. of the phenolsulfonic acid salt. The phenolsulfonic acid salt is monosalt, disalt or their mixture of sulfonic group and hydroxyl group, e.g. phenolsulfonic acid sodium salt. The dehydration is carried out by using a conventional apparatus furnished with a distillation column and a condenser. It is not necessary to use a particular apparatus such as drying machine.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound good in hue, with little side reaction at low cost in high yield and selectivity by adding specific additive(s) in the initial stage when an acyloxybenxene is to be sulfonated by SO3 using a thin- film type sulfonator. SOLUTION: The objective compound of formula II is obtained by sulfonating an acyloxybenzen of formula I (R is a 1-35C straight-chain or branched alkyl, phenyl, etc.; R is methoxy, ethoxy, etc.; (n) is 0-2) with SO3 using a thin-film type sulfonator. In this case, in the initial stage of the reaction, a total of 5-100mol%, based on the compound of formula I, of additive(s) selected from carboxylic acids (esters) of formula III (R is H or a 1-3C alkyl; R is a 2-35C straight-chain or branched alkyl, alkenyl, etc.) e.g. amides each having a functional group or linkage of formula IV (X is O or S) and carbonic ester compounds each having a functional group of formula V is added to the compound of formula I. It is preferable that the compound of formula I be phenyl laurate and the additive(s) lauric acid, etc.

CONSTITUTION:A multistage tank-type reactor or tubular reactor is continuously charged with (A) an alkali metal salt and/or alkaline earth metal salt, (B) an alkali metal aluminate and (C) an alkali metal silicate so that the solution to be subjected to reaction have a composition: MxO/Al2O3/SiO2/H2O at molar ratio of (0.5-8):1:(1-7):(50-1500) (M is alkali metal, alkaline earth metal or mixture thereof; x is 1 or 2). In this case, at least one of the above components A, B, and C is continuously injected to plural sites followed by carrying out the reaction to deposit amorphous aluminosilicate, which is then separated from the reaction system, thus continuously affording the objective amorphous aluminosilicate.
