At least one of (a) and (b) contains a hydrocarbon group chosen from 8-36C hydrocarbon group having one or more unsaturated bonds, and a branched 8-36C alkyl group.

Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a bleaching agent comprising the granulated bleaching activator and an inorganic peroxide; and (2) activating the bleaching agent with the granulated bleaching activator.
