Abstract:
A novel cosmetic comprises an oil gel formed by at least one metal salt of a dialkyl phosphate of the following general formula (I), (II) or (III) (I) (II) (III) in which each R1 and each R2 independently represent a saturated or unsaturated, linear or branched hydrocarbon group having from 8 to 36 carbon atoms, m is an integer of from 1 to 3, n is an integer of from 0 to 2, k is a value of 1 or 2, and 1 is a value of 0 to 1, and a cosmetic oil. The metal salt of the dialkyl phosphate can yield a good oil gel when it is incorporated into the oil in an amount as small as 0.1 to 10% of the oil. Further, the dialkyl phosphate retains good feel of oils without causing oozing of the oil, crazing, discoloration, perspiration and the like.

Abstract:
A process for producing a mold, comprising a step of mixing refractory particles, a water-soluble phenol resin, and a curing agent composition comprising an ester compound, thereby yielding mixed sands, and a step of putting the mixed sands into an original pattern to shape the sands, wherein the refractory particles comprise reclaimed sands that are artificial sands produced by a fusion method in a proportion of 70% or more by weight, the curing agent composition comprises at least one selected from triethylene glycol diacetate, triethylene glycol, 3-phenylpropane-1-ol, and benzyl alcohol.
Abstract:
This invention provides a method of manufacturing polymer particles of indeterminate form, characterized in that a cationic surface active agent or an amphoteric surface active agent is present as a dispersant when a water-soluble polymerizable monomer is polymerized by using an inert hydrophobic organic solvent and an aqueous solution of the water-soluble polymerizable monomer. According to the manufacturing method of the present invention, polymer particles of indeterminate form useful as a water absorbing resin having a low apparent specific gravity, a high water absorption degree including a high initial water absorption rate, a high gas-permeability, a high liquid-permeability and a high post-water-absorption gel strength, and, especially, as a water absorbing resin for the production of an absorption body for a sanitary material contacting a human body, such as a sanitary napkin, a paper diaper, shorts for adults, a tampon and sanitary cotton can be obtained by a simple operation with a high productivity and on a mass-production basis.
Abstract:
The super absorbent polymer composition of the present invention comprises a super absorbent polymer and a diphosphonic acid represented by the following general formula (I):

A fat and oil composition comprises (1) as the main triglyceride one or more mixed acid triglyceride having one or more saturated C20 to C24 fatty acid residue and one or more unsaturated C16 to C22 fatty acid residue in a molecule thereof and (2) in the entire fatty acid moiety 15 to 70 wt.% of one or more saturated C20 to C24 fatty acids and 20 to 60 wt.% of one or more unsaturated C16 to C22 fatty acids. It is useful as a base of a solid cosmetic preparation.
