PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aqueous cosmetic which can easily be coated, is free from stickiness, when coated, is free from stickiness and slipperiness, when water is used, and has excellent moisture retainability. SOLUTION: This aqueous cosmetic in which oils or fats and a silicone oil are dispersed in an aqueous medium with an emulsifier, is characterized by containing solid fats in the oils and the fats in a content of ≥70 wt.%, containing (A) intercorneocyte lipids in the solid fats in an amount of ≥50 wt.%, and containing linear and/or cyclic silicone oils represented by the general formula (1) and/or (2) [(x) is 0 to 5; (y) is 3 to 7], and a liquid silicone oil having dynamic viscosity of 4 to 300 mm 2 /s at 25°C except (B) and (C) components. PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite polymer particle which is excellent in compounding stability even in a W/O emulsion type toilet article, has a high ultraviolet rays protecting effect and gives a pleasant feeling to users, to provide its production method and to provide a toilet article containing the same. SOLUTION: The composite polymer particle is obtainable by polymerization of a vinyl monomer with a crosslinking agent, wherein the monomer contains a metal oxide which is covered with silicone and/or fluorine compounds and its average particle diameter is not more than 1 μm, and the monomer content is at least 25 pts.mass against 100 pts.mass of the sum of the total monomer and the crosslinking agent, and the solubility parameter of the monomer calculated by Fedors method is less than 8.9. Moreover, in a toilet article is contained the composite polymer particle, which contains a metal oxide covered with the silicone and/or fluorine compounds and its average particle diameter is not more than 1 μm, in an amount corresponding to 5 mass%, as a metal oxide and 1 mass% of 2-ethylhexyl 4-methoxycinnamate, and the SPF of the toilet article is at least 7. Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate performance by measuring correlation time of surfactant molecules by a nuclear magnetic resonance(NMR) analysis, thereby measuring an interaction of the molecules having correlation with performance such as foaming power, cleaning power or the like of the surfactant. SOLUTION: Correlation time of surfactant molecules is measured by an NMR analysis, a molecular motion of the surfactant is analyzed from the measured value, and performance of the surfactant is evaluated. That is, a pulse-like electromagnetic wave is emitted to surfactant water solution. And, magnitude of an interaction of the molecules is measured from time dependence or frequency dependence of the wave absorbed or reflected in the solution. For example, the wave is emitted to the solution of an equilibrated state to apply disturbance thereto, and a deviation from the equilibrated state is brought about. And, alleviating time and nuclear Overhauser effect of the molecules when the system is returned to the equilibrated state by the internal motion of the system are measured, thereby obtaining the state of the interaction of the molecules.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a polymer composite particle having superb blending stability even in a W/O emulsion cosmetic, a highly effective ultraviolet protection effect and a good feeling in use, a method of manufacturing the same, and a cosmetic composition containing the polymer composite particle. SOLUTION: The polymer composite particle containing a metal oxide coated with a silicone and/or fluorine compound and having an average particle diameter of 1 μm or less, wherein the cosmetic comprising the polymer composite particle in an amount corresponding to 5 mass% of the metal oxide and 1 mass% of 2-ethylhexyl 4-methoxycinnamate has an SPF of 7 or more; its manufacturing method; and the cosmetic containing the composite polymer particle; are provided.
