Abstract: A wet cleaning sheet 1 has a liquid retentive sheet 12 made of a fibrous material or a cellular material and impregnated with a predetermined amount of a detergent, etc., a liquid impermeable sheet 11 disposed on one side of the liquid retentive sheet 12, and a liquid gradual-releasing sheet made of a fibrous material and less air permeable than the liquid retentive sheet 12 disposed on the other side of the liquid retentive sheet 12. The liquid impermeable sheet 11 has a bag shape with openings 13 on one side thereof. The liquid retentive sheet is held in the bag and releases the detergent, etc. through the openings 13. The liquid gradual-releasing sheet has an air permeability of 0.05 to 6 m/kPa.s thereby to control the gradual release of the detergent, etc.

Abstract: Wet sheet for cleaning (1) comprising liquid retention sheet (12) constituted of a fibrous material or foam material and impregnated with a given amount of cleaner or the like; liquid impermeable sheet (11) disposed on one major surface of the liquid retention sheet (12); and a sheet of fibrous material capable of sustained release of liquid, the sheet disposed on the other major surface of the liquid retention sheet (12) and exhibiting an air permeability lower than that of the liquid retention sheet (12). The liquid impermeable sheet (11) is formed into a bag provided partially with openings (13), and the liquid retention sheet (12) is accommodated in the bag formed liquid impermeable sheet (11). The air permeability of the liquid sustained-release sheet is in the range of 0.05 to 6 m/kPa.s, whereby the sustained-release performance of cleaner or the like is controlled.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a method of applying an oil agent by which to allow adequate permeation of an oil agent into the interior of a structural body with no surplus portion of the oil agent on the surface by passing the structural body through an area between a non-elastic roll and an elastic roll more than once, and pressing the body between the rolls to apply a specific amount of oil agent after the application of the oil agent. CONSTITUTION:A sheet is wound out of a feeder roll 1, and then is transported to an area between a gravure roll 4 and a rubber roll 5 via a guide roll 2. After applying an oil agent 7 to the sheet using the gravure roll 4, the sheet is pressed between a first metal roll 20 for nipple and a rubber roll 22 for nipple. In this case, a coated surface 31 is pressed in between by allowing the coated surface 31 to come in contact with the metal roll 20, and a surplus oil agent 7 portion on the coated surface 31 is allowed to migrate to the metal roll 20 for nipple. At the same time, a specific amount of the oil agent 7 is permitted to permeate into the sheet. Further, the sheet is pressed between a second metal roll 20 for nipple and a rubber roll 22 for nipple, some remaining oil agent 7 portion on the coated surface 31 is completely removed.

SOLUTION: The material for applying a chemical of the present invention is provided with a storage body which encapsulates a chemical and enables its release and a fiber sheet for absorbing the chemical released from the storage body and applying the absorbed chemical to an application subject. The storage body and the fiber sheet are layered in advance so that they are at least partially joined together for use. Alternatively they are layered upon application of the chemical to an application subject. The fiber sheet contains a hydrophilic fiber and polyvinylalcohol.

A medicine containing an oil component is carried on such a sheet for wiping and the quantity of the oil component to be carried is from 1 to 20% of the weight of the fiber assemblies.
