    Abstract: Provided are oil-cooked or baked potatoes having a small water content, having good texture, having good storage stability, for example, being crispy even after the passage of time and free from deterioration in taste due to a rancid odor of the oil or fat used for them, having good flavor and being excellent in blandness. Oil-cooked or baked potatoes of the present invention comprise 3 to 50 wt.% of an oil or fat composition containing 2 wt.% or less of a monoglyceride and 15 wt.% or greater but less than 50 wt.% of a diglyceride having, as a constituent fatty acid, 15 to 100 wt.% of an omega 3 unsaturated fatty acid having less than 20 carbon atoms.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cement dispersing agent exhibiting high level dispersing property, dispersion retaining property and initial strength in a wide concrete producing condition.
    SOLUTION: The method of producing the cement dispersing agent has a step of copolymerizing in the presence of a chain transfer agent a specified monomer (A) such as an ethylene-based unsaturated carboxylic acid derivative having a polyoxyalkylene group and a specified monomer (B) such as (meth)acrylic acid to obtain a copolymer mixture (I), wherein the molar ratio (A)/(B) is changed in the midway of the reaction at least once and the quantity of the chain transfer agent to be added to the reaction line is changed, and a step of obtaining a copolymer mixture (II) having a different average weight ratio of the monomer (B) to the total monomer from that in the step (I) by changing the molar ratio (A)/(B) and the quantity of the chain transfer agent.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To improve the strength of a casting mold by incorporating an alkaline water-soluble phenolic resin and alkylene oxide adduct of cyclic ether alcohol into a binder compsn. CONSTITUTION: The binder for producing the casting mold is added to the molding sand and the casting mold is produced by using an org. ester and/or carbon dioxide as a hardener. The ether bond of the cyclic ether alcohol is formed of an -O- bond group or -S- bond group. The alkylene oxide adduct of the cyclic ether alcohol is formed of >=1 kinds selected from the compds. expressed by formulas I, II. X: an O element or S element, R: an ethylene group, propylene group or butyrene group, n: a positive integer from 1 to 100. As a result, the amt. of the resin to be used is decreased as the casting mold strength increases. The casting produced by casting has decreased blowholes and the high-quality casting is obtd.
