    Abstract: PURPOSE:To secure the high flowability, high chargeability, aggregate separation resistance and high strength of the concrete composition by adding a high performance water-reducing agent and pulp fibers and controlling the slump flow value to a >= a specific value. CONSTITUTION:The high performance water-reducing agent includes a naphthalene sulfonate metal salt-formaldehyde condensation product (Mighty 150), a melamine sulfonate metal salt-formaldehyde condensation product (Mightly 150 V-2), a phenolsulfonic acid-formaldehyde condensation product, a phenol.sulfanilic acid-formaldehyde cocondensation product, an unsaturated monocarboxylic acid, and its derivative. The water-reducing agent is added in an amount of 0.3-3.0wt.% as an effective component to a cement. The pulp fibers include virgin pulp obtained from needle-leaf trees, broad-leaf trees, etc., and fibers obtained from waste paper, and are added in an amount of 0.1-5.0wt.% based on kneading water. Other cement additives (e.g. air-carrying agent) may further be added. The slump floe value (defined by JIS-A 1101) of the composition is >=40cm.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve pot life without decreasing the strength of a casting mold by specifying the molar ratio between the total molar number of NaOH and KOH and phenol and specifying the molar ratio between NaOH and KOH. CONSTITUTION:This binder compsn. is used for the production of the gas curable casting mold by using an aq. alkaline phenol-aldehyde resin soln. as a binder and injecting a gaseous or aerosol org. ester thereto to produce the casting mold. The alkali in the aq. alkaline phenol-aldehyde resin soln. consists of NaOH and KOH. The molar ratio between the total molar number of NaOH and KOH and phenol is specified to 0.2:1-1.2:1 and the molar ratio between NaOH and KOH is specified to 5:95-99.5:0.5. The pot life is improved by the above-mentioned binder compsn.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To extend the pot life of system sand and to decrease the stickers to a metallic mold by using a compd. incorporated with an epoxy group and vinyl group or vinylidene group into one molecule as a binder for a casting mold. CONSTITUTION:The compd. contg. at least one epoxy group and at least one vinyl group or vinylidene group in one molecule is used as an essential component. The compd. is the compd. contg. at least one arom. group in a molecule such as half ester derived from an epoxy compd. and at least one kind of an acrylic acid and methacrylic acid. Such compd. includes a phenol, epoxy compd. derived from the reaction of phenol novolak type oligomer and epichlorohydrin, etc. The pot life of the system sand for the casting mold is extended and the stickers to the metallic mold is reduced. If the binder of the compsn. essentially consisting of the above-mentioned compd. is used.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain the subject additive, capable of improving preventing effects on peel of a bituminous substance and useful as an asphalt paving composition, etc., by blending an inorganic phosphoric acid compound with a specific acidic organic phosphoric acid compound. CONSTITUTION:This highly durable additive comprises (A) a 16-18C straight- chain or branched chain saturated or unsaturated aliphatic monophosphoric acid ester, (B) a 16-18C straight-chain or branched chain saturated or unsaturated aliphatic diphosphoric acid ester and (C) an inorganic phosphoric acid compound. The amount of the component (A) is 40-95mol% based on the sum total of both the components (A) and (B) and the amount of the component (C) is 1-15mol% based on the sum total of both the components (A) and (B). Thereby, the optimum bonding interface dense in the molecular structure and orientation can be formed in the interface between the bituminous substance and an aggregate.
