    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an ultraviolet protective, excellent in protective effect against ultraviolet ray, and giving, when used for cosmetics, coating color of natural finish, prevented from becoming pale, by including powder having a reflection interference color within a specific color range and superfine titanium oxide particles. SOLUTION: This protective contains (A) powder having a reflection interference color of orange, yellow or gold, and (B) superfine titanium oxide particles. It is preferable that the powder as the component A is prepared by coating a material having a black plane with powder, and has a hue angle (h) of 45 to 110 deg. in the L*C*h color system, when measured for its color by a colorimeter. The example of the component A is mica coated with a metallic oxide, especially titanium or iron oxide. The powders as the component A and B have an average particle size of 100 μm or less and 100 nm or less, respectively. The protective contains the component A preferably at 1 wt.% or more, more preferably 1.4 to 80 wt.%, and the component B preferably at 3.5 wt.% or more, more preferably 3.5 to 20 wt.%.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a powdery cosmetic suppressing agglutination of powder by compression, improving taking out property without clogging even in repeatedly using through meshes and keeping a light use feeling by including colored powder and globular powder. SOLUTION: This powdery cosmetic capable of being filled in a vessel having a shape taking out through meshes is obtained by including (A) 4.5-30 wt.% of colored powder selected from iron oxide and tar-based pigment and (B) 0.1-60 wt.% of globular powder. Preferably, the cosmetic is a foundation. Preferably, an average particle diameter of the component A is 0.005-1 μm. As the component B, globular silica, etc., is exemplified and preferably has an average particle diameter of 2-20 μm. Hydrophobic surfaces of the components A and B can be used and the hydrophobic treatment can be performed by using a hydrophobizing treating agent such as a silicone oil. Further, preferably 1-20 wt.% of an oil component such as liquid paraffin can be mixed in the whole composition of the cosmetic.

    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cosmetic having excellent touch in use, excellent durability of make-up for many hours free from color transfer, by including organic laminar powder treated with a fluorine compound and a fluorine-based oil agent. SOLUTION: This cosmetic contains (A) preferably 0.1-99 wt.%, especially 0.5-50 wt.%, more especially 1-30 wt.% of organic laminar powder treated with a fluorine compound and (B) preferably 0.1-50 wt.%, especially 0.5-30 wt.%., more especially 1-30 wt.% of a fluorine-based oil agent. An alkyl phosphate polyvalent metal salt and an N-mono-long chain acyl basic amino acid are preferable as the organic laminar power of the component A. The average particle diameter of the organic laminar powder is preferably about 0.1-50 μm. A compound containing a perfluoroalkyl group is preferable as the fluorine compound for treating the organic laminar powder. A fluorine-modified silicone, a perfluoropolyether, etc., may be cited as the component B.
