    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a pack cosmetic, excellent in film strength, humectant, fouling removing and texture improving properties and having quick-drying properties and good releasability. CONSTITUTION: This pack cosmetic is obtained by blending 5-30wt.% mixture of two kinds of water-soluble polymers of chitosan with pullulan as a film- forming agent. The chitosan is prepared by neutralization with an organic acid and the chitosan and pullulan are contained at a blending ratio of the chitosan to the pullulan is (3/7) to (7/3), preferably (4/6) to (6/4). The organic acid used for neutralizing the chitosan has one carboxyl group and one or more functional groups selected from the carboxyl group, amino group, hydroxyl group, ether group and amide group in the molecule and is preferably succinic acid, tartaric acid, etc., used in a molar amount of 0.8-1 based on the amino groups in the chitosan for neutralization. Since a film prepared by using the pack cosmetic manifests good humectant effects, good moistness is obtained after use thereof.

    Abstract: PURPOSE: To obtain a pack cosmetic peelable as a piece of film in peeling without feeling a pain and having excellent removability of dirt in pores of the skin by containing a block copolymer of a polyvinyl alcohol-based polymer and a polymer having an ionic group as a film forming agent. CONSTITUTION: The objective cosmetic contains a block copolymer obtained by radical polymerization of a polymerizable unsaturated monomer having an ionic group (e.g. (meth)acryloyloxyethyl trimethylammonium chloride) in the presence of a polyvinyl alcohol-based polymer having a mercapto group at only an end.
