Diese Erfindung betrifft eine Säulen-Kontaktanlage zum Kontaktieren eines Gases mit einer Flüssigkeit in einem Aufwärtsfluß in einem Säulenbehälter, umfassend zwei oder mehr Stufen von strukturellen Wabenkörpern in dem Säulenbehälter in einer vertikalen Richtung, einen Raumbereich, gebildet zwischen den jeweiligen Stufen der strukturellen Wabenkörper, und einen Fluß-abgleichenden Bereich als Rückfluß-Verhinderungsmittel, vorgesehen in dem Raumbereich zwischen den jeweiligen Stufen, so daß der Fluß-abgleichende Bereich nicht mit den strukturellen Wabenkörpern in Kontakt gebracht wird, wobei der Fluß-abgleichende Bereich eine Vielzahl von Löchern mit Lochdurchmessern von 0,5 bis 8 mm umfaßt.

A method for producing a coated material having an oxidizable metal-containing coating, including the step of applying to a base material (11) an oxidizable metal-containing coating fluid containing a particulate oxidizable metal, a carbon component, a thickener, and water using a coating apparatus (1) and a coating fluid preparation step in which a thickener solution prepared by dissolving the thickener in water, the particulate oxidizable metal, and the carbon component or an aqueous dispersion of the carbon component are put and mixed in a preparation tank (3) to prepare the oxidizable metal-containing coating fluid. In the coating fluid preparation step, the particulate oxidizable metal is added to the thickener solution. The coating apparatus (1) includes a relay tank (4) capable of temporarily storing the coating fluid to be fed from the preparation tank (3) to a coating unit (5), so that the oxidizable metal-containing coating fluid in the preparation tank (3) is fed to the coating unit (5) through the relay tank (4).

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of active carbon impregnated with a deodorant, capable of controlling an impregnation amount of the deodorant to granular active carbon, uniformly impregnating the granular active carbon with the deodorant, and improving drying efficiency.SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of the active carbon impregnated with the deodorant is for manufacturing the granular active carbon impregnated with the deodorant by introducing the granular active carbon into a preheated container (mixing tank 21), atomizing the aqueous solution of the deodorant while agitating the introduced granular active carbon by a spiral screw type agitator 235, and after the atomization of the aqueous solution of the deodorant is ended, drying the granular active carbon to which the aqueous solution of the deodorant is atomized by hot air drying.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a honeycomb packing column shaped gas-liquid contact apparatus for bringing gas and a liquid into contact with each other in an ascending flow state in a column-shaped container, in which a honeycomb structure capable of stabilizing a flow state in gas-liquid contact, is housed, and an operation method therefor.SOLUTION: In the honeycomb packing column shaped gas-liquid contact apparatus 10 for bringing the gas and the liquid into contact with each other in an ascending flow state within the column-shaped container 11, the honeycomb structure 12 for bringing the gas and the liquid into contact with each other is housed in the column-shaped container. The honeycomb structure is composed of a large number of parallel fine flow channels and the hydraulic diameter of the cross-sectional shape in the width direction of each fine flow channel is below 1 mm and, preferably, the cross-sectional shape in the width direction of the fine flow channel is a triangle.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing gas barrier material for a molded product with high gas barrier, such as oxygen and the like.SOLUTION: There is provided a method for producing gas barrier materials containing cellulose fibers having an average fiber diameter of not more than 200 nm, wherein the content of the carboxy group in a cellulose composing the cellulose fiber is 0.1-2 mmol/g. The method for producing gas barrier material includes steps of: adding 10-1,000 times the amount (mass ratio) of water to natural fibers (on an absolute dry weight basis) as raw materials to obtain slurry; applying an oxidizing treatment to the natural fibers using 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-1-piperidin-N-oxyl (TEMPO) or a derivative thereof as a catalyst and a co-oxidizing agent; and pulverizing.

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an oxidizable-metal-containing applied object, by which an oxidizable-metal-containing applied object as a production intermediate of a heat generator can be efficiently produced.SOLUTION: The method for producing an oxidizable-metal-containing applied object includes: a step in which an oxidizable-metal-containing application liquid which contains oxidizable metal particles, a carbon component, a thickener and water, is applied to a substrate 11 by use of an application apparatus 1; and an application liquid preparation step in which a thickener solution prepared by dissolving the thickener in water, the oxidizable metal particles, and the carbon component or an aqueous dispersion of the carbon component are charged into a preparation tank 3 and mixed to prepare the oxidizable-metal-containing application liquid. In the application liquid preparation step, the oxidizable metal particles are charged to the thickener solution. The application apparatus 1 includes a relay tank 4 that can temporarily store the application liquid to be supplied to an application means 5 from the preparation tank 3, and the oxidizable-metal-containing application liquid in the preparation tank 3 is supplied to the application means 5 via the relay tank 4.
