    Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the heat transfer characteristics at a high viscosity and to widen the range of an adequate charging quantity by constituting stirring vanes of an anchor vane part and grid vane parts, forming this anchor vane part of an anchor-like planar part and forming the grid vane parts of perforated planar parts arranged near the central part of a stirring vessel. SOLUTION: This stirring device is used to stir and mix plural kinds of the high-viscosity in-vessel liquids supplied to the stirring vessel 11. The stirring vanes 12 driven by a motor 14 comprise the anchor vane part 21 dispose around a revolving shaft 13 and the grid vane parts 31. The anchor vane part 21 are formed of two sheets of the planar parts 22 extended like an anchor to both sides of the revolving shaft 13. The planar members 22 have stirring parts 22A near the bottom extended along the bottom 11A of the stirring vessel 11 and the stirring parts 22B near the wall extended along a vessel wall part 11B. On the other hand, the grid vane parts 31 are formed to two sheets of the perforated planar part 32 arranged near the center of the plates so as to overhang to both sides of the stirring vessel 11.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide toner grains having a desired grain size range by flash- drying the suspension containing the toner grains obtained by suspension polymerization as it is, or flash-drying the suspension after solid-liquid-separating it. CONSTITUTION:A polymerization monomer composition containing an electrification control agent and a colorant is suspension-polymerized in an aqueous medium to obtain suspension containing electrostatic charge image developing toner grains, then the suspension is flash-dried as it is, or the slurry or cake obtained by solid-liquid-separating the suspension is flash-dried. A loop type flash drier used for this flash drying is provided with a slurry or wet cake feeder 5', a hot-air drier 1, an air current dispersing unit 3, a loop type air current drying pipe 2', an air current extracting port 7 provided on the inside of the loop type air current drying pipe 2', and a cyclone 4. When the air current extracting port 7 is provided on the inside of the loop, only dried toner grains among the dried toner grains and undried toner grains can be taken out of the system by the Coanda effect.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a highly stable dentifrice free from volatilization of the fragrant ingredients and viscosity variation by simultaneously mixing an abrasive agent, caking agent, wetting agent and water followed, by defoaming under reduced pressures and then addition of an fragrance. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, the following agents are mixed simultaneously: (1) an abrasive agent (e.g. calcium secondary phosphate), (2) a caking agent (e.g. carboxymethylcellulose), (3) a wetting agent (e.g. glycerin) and (4) water. Second, the resulting mixture is defoamed under a reduced pressure of 10-300mmHg or so. Then, a fragrant component (e.g. peppermint oil, lemon oil) is added to the mixture, thus obtaining the objective dentifrice. With the above-process, ill-balancing for flavor due to partly volatilizing the fragrant ingredients can be prevented; that is, flavor can be highlighted through preventing the spoilage of fragrant ingredient composition along with entraining no air bubbles, thus obtaining the objective high-quality dentifrice also good in stability.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized toner having a sharp particle diameter distribution by using a water-hardly soluble inorganic compound powder reduced in size into a specified ultrafine average particle diameter having a small standard deviation as a dispersion stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:The water-hardly soluble inorganic compound powder reduced in size into an ultrafine average particle diameter of 0.05 - 0.6mmu having a standard deviation of 0.05 - 0.45mmu is used as the dispersion stabilizer to disperse a monomer composition into an aqueous medium, preferably, by rotating it under pressure and then, ejecting it into a chamber low in pressure, thus permitting the dispersion stabilizer to be effectively adsorbed to the monomer composition and the small-sized toner having a sharp particle diameter distribution to be obtained.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To prevent aggregation of toner particles in a dispersion medium during polymn., to stabilize the dispersion, and to obtain toner particles having a sharp distribution of particle size. As for the dispersion stabilizer, an inorg. compd. powder which is hardly soluble in water is used. As for a dispersion assistant, a surfactant is used.     Abstract: PURPOSE:To effectively remove the fatty acid soap-component incorporated and dissolved into a degreasing liquid by controlling the alkalinity in the degreasing liquid to a specific value or above to salt out the fatty acid soap- component and removing the salted-out fatty acid soap. CONSTITUTION:A rolled steel sheet 1 is transferred into the degreasing liquid 4 where its surfaces are degreased. The aged degreasing liquid 4 is sent through a circulation tank 6 to an alkalinity control tank 8. An alkali builder is added via a line 9 into the aged degreasing liquid 4A, by which its alkalinity is controlled to >=3.0wt.%. The aged degreasing liquid 4A subjected to such control may be left standing as it is and the salted-out soap of the upper layer may be removed. The aged degreasing liquid 4A is otherwise sent via a supply pump 10 to a centrifugal separating machine 11. The salted-out soap-component of the separated upper layer is sent to a waste oil tank 13. The normalized degreasing liquid 4C is sent via a circulation pump 12 to the circulation tank 6. As a result, the soap-component dissolved in the degreasing liquid is effectively removed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To produce the toner with good productivity by further pulverizing the powder obtd. by subjecting toner raw material to melt kneading, solidifying by cooling and prepulverizing, in the presence of a refrigerant. CONSTITUTION:The constituting components of the electrostatic charge image developing toner raw materials are previously weighted a mixed and are supplied from a raw material supply machine to a kneading machine. A binder resin is heated to melt and is kneaded in a molten state in a kneading machine. The kneaded matter is then sent to a cooler where the kneaded matter is cooled down to a temp. at which the pulverization is possible. The kneaded matter is then prepulverized by a prepulverizing machine. The prepulverized particles obtd. in such a manner are pulverized in the presence of the refrigerant, by which the coarse particles, the particles of prescribed sizes and the microparticles are formed. These particles are sent to a classifying machine where the particles are classified to a mixture composed of the coarse particles and the mixture composed of the particles of the prescribed grain sizes and the microparticles. The coarse particles are subjected together with the prepulverized particles to pulverization. The prescribed particles and the microparticles are further classified.
