Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid medication encapsulant which prevents a liquid holding sheet from getting creased or twisted in a storage even when the liquid holding sheet is impregnated with a large quantity of the liquid medication.
SOLUTION: The liquid medication encapsulant 10 has the liquid holding sheet 12 impregnated with a prescribed quantity of the liquid medication and a liquid impermeable storage 11 hermetically storing the liquid holding sheet 12 and having an openably sealed opening 13. With the liquid retaining sheet 12 stored in the storage 11, the liquid holding sheet 12 and the inside of the storage are joined. With the liquid holding sheet stored in the storage 11, the liquid holding sheet 12 and the inside of the storage 11 are joined. The storage 11 is shaped like a flat bag. The storage 11 has an openably sealed opening 13 on one surface and the liquid holding sheet 12 and the inside of the storage 11 are joined on the other side.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a porous sheet having moisture permeability water pressure resistance and excellent sheet strength and can give e.g. an absorbent article having a good feeling of use by forming a crystalline polyolefin into a porous sheet of a specified structure. SOLUTION: This porous sheet is formed by melt-mixing 50-90 pts.wt. of a crystalline polyolefin with 50-10 pts.wt. of a compound (e.g. mineral oil) which is miscible with and soluble in the polyolefin at a temperature equal to or lower than the melting point of the polyolefin but forms a separate phase at a temperature lower than the melting point to form a molten resin composition, forming this melt into a sheet and at least uniaxially stretching this sheet to form micropores going from the surface of the sheet to its back and has a porous region having numerous micropores and a nonporous region freed from micropores. The porous sheet can be obtained by cooling a sheet-like melt or a formed sheet in such a manner that the cooling rate is varied according to the part to be cooled.

CONSTITUTION: Porous sheet 1 consists of ribs 3 and 3' formed on a planar part 2. The ribs 3 are formed in multiple rows in the longitudinal direction or the machine direction or the direction A, while the ribs 3' are formed in multiple rows or the lateral direction or the cross direction or the direction normal to the direction A so as to make lattice-like pattern. The thickness (b) of the rib 3 in the machine direction is made to be 0.1-4 times as much as the thickness (a) of the planar part 2 and the pitch (c) between the respective ribs 3 preferably set to be 100μ-50mm and the width (d) of the rib 3 is preferably set to be 50μ-10mm. Further, the preferable ranges of the thickness (b) of the rib 3', of the pitch (e) between the respective ribs 3' and of the width (f) of the rib 3' are made to be equal to those of the ribs arranged in multiple rows in the machine direction. Furthermore, the thicknesses (b) of the ribs 3 and 3' are respectively and preferably set to be 3-400μ and the thickness (a) of the planar part 2 is preferably set to be 10-200μ.

Abstract: PURPOSE:To provide the polishing sheet which can easily and sufficiently polish metals, tableware, etc., even without using a polishing agent and the process for production thereof. CONSTITUTION:The polishing sheet 1 is constituted by providing numerous blob-like solids 3 made of a thermoplastic resin on fibers 2 constituting the surface of the sheet. The process for production of the polishing sheet 1 consists in blending and opening conjugate fibers 2 consisting of 1st fibers 1 of a low m.p. and 2nd fibers of a high m.p., and forming a web by a carding machine, then heating the web at a temp. higher than the m.p. of the 1st fibers and lower than the m.p. of the 2nd fibers and forming the blob-like solids 3 while melting and bonding the resin consisting of the 1st fibers on the surface of the 2nd fibers 2.

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing bulky paper, which is capable of dissolving the defects of conventional technologies. SOLUTION: This method for producing the bulky paper includes: performing an emboss process on stock paper in a wet state for giving unevenness, drying the stock paper by penetrating gas heated at a prescribed temperature through it. It is preferable to dry the stock paper by a through air drier 21 equipped with a rotary drum 22 of which circumferential surface has air permeability. It is also preferable to rotate the rotary drum 22 and emboss rolls 18, 18 by different driving sources. COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT

Abstract: PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and sufficiently polish metal, dishes or the like without using a polish by incorporating thermoplastic fibers that are melted by thermal treatment and form lump-shaped solids in a sheet made up of a nonwoven fabric web where an interfiber distance is specified and arranging countless lump-shaped solids on the fibers forming the surface of the sheet. SOLUTION: In the polishing sheet 1, countless lump-shaped solids 3 made of a thermoplastic resin are arranged in fibers 2. To manufacture, after fibers made of a thermoplastic resin having a melting point higher than heating temperature and another fibers made of a thermoplastic resin having as melting point lower than the heating temperature are blended and formed into a web, and by thermally treating them, both thermoplastic fibers are melted and formed into lumps, and irregularities are given to the fibers. On this occasion, the interfiber distance is set at 30 to 500 μm. To use as a household polishing sheet for cleaning a sink or a range, the percent content of low melting point fibers is set at 60 to 80 wt.%.

CONSTITUTION: This porous sheet is obtained by stretching a sheet molded of a melted and blended material of a resin composition composed (A) 50-90 pts.wt. of a crystalline polyolefin resin such as a PP resin or a propylene- ethylene copolymer resin, (B) 50-100 pts.wt. of an organic compound having miscibility to the component A at a temperature higher than the melting point of the component A and generating phase separation with the component A at a temperature below the melting point of the component A such as a mineral oil or a synthetic lubricating oil and (C) 0.5-20 pts.wt. (to 100 pts.wt. of the component A) of a propylene-based resin having a long chain branch in more than one directions. Preferably, an absorbing material is produced from a liquid- permeable surface material, a leak-proof rear face material using the porous sheet and an absorbing material placed between these both face materials.
