    Abstract: PURPOSE:To shorten a period required for reaction, by dividing the inside of a reactor of a heat energy reservior by a plurality of tubulr walls of water repellent porous material. CONSTITUTION:The reactor 1 accomodates in a shell 4 a heat exchanger 5 consisting of an inflow side header 9, an outflow side header 10 and heat transmission pipes 7, so that heat exchange is effected between an absorbent and a use side fluid flowing through the inflow side header 9, the outflow side header 10 and the heat transmission pipes 7. The walls 6 permit readily passage of gases while preventing passage of liquids. As a result, a refregerant gas flows through a refrigerant path 3 passes through the walls 6 to become in contact with the absorbent to combine therewith, whereas the decomposed refrigerant gas passes the wall 6 in the opposite direction to flow toward the refrigerant path 3, so that the combination and the decomposition can be positively effected.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To improve a heat transfer rate of a heating medium and a heat accumulation medium, prevent a supercooling phenomenon and contrive a reduction of production cost further, by forming a flow through which the heat accumulation medium ascends and descends in gaps of a plurality of heat exchanger plates alternately. CONSTITUTION:The titled heat accumulator is provided with a purality of heat exchanger plates 1, 1A-1F. A heating medium led throught an opening 3 flows through a gap between the plates 1, 1A in the direction of an arrow and arrives at a lower opening 5. Then as for the plates 1A, 1B, shapes of the tops and the bottoms of their divided wall surfaces are reversed as shown by the plates 1A, 1B. Then the heating medium streamed out through an opening 5A of the plate 1A arrives at a gap between the plates 1B, 1C and ascends throught the gap in the direction of an arrow without flowing throught a gap between the plates 1A, 1B as a packing is being provided on a divided wall surface of the circumference of an opening 4B in the plate 1B. Then the heating medium flows similarly through a gap between the plates 1D, 1E and the similar flow is repeated in order. In other words, the heating medium flows through the gaps formed by the plates by turning the same into the ascending and decending flows alternately.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To fabricate latent-heat thermal accumulator type heat exchangers having easily adjustable heat-exchange capacity, by providing fluid passage between laminated holders in which latent-heat type thermal accumulating material is encased. CONSTITUTION:Thermal accumulating material is filled through an intake 15 into a flat, hollow holder 10 which is formed by two rectangular plates 13. A fluid passage 12 is formed on the surface of the holder 10. The holders 10 are assembled into laminated structure with packings 18 interlaid so that fluid passages 12 are formed between the holders respectively. Heating fluid inputted through a liquid port 16 comes out of a liquid port 17 through a fluid passage 12 to effect heat exchange, and thermal accumulating material is then liquefied. In such a setup, a holder 10 functions as an individual unit so that adjustment of heat-exchange capacity can easily be made by varying freely numbers and spacing of the holder units 10, whereby flexibility of applicatins of the heat exchangers can be increased.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To expand types of heating fluids which can be processed through heat exchangers having a feature free from direct contact between heating fluid and fluid to be heated by a construction wherein laminated holders in which latent heat type thermal accumulating material is encased are provided with liquid ports isolated from the inside space at four corners respectively. Such holders are put together at the same intervals with the liquid ports opened and closed alternately. CONSTITUTION:The holder 10 in which thermal accumulating material is encased is formed by two rectangular plates 14 through which liquid ports 17a-17d isolated from the inside space are provided at four corners. Such holders 10 are laminated together at proper intervals using packings 12, 13 with series of guide barriers 19 in alternate directions in between. For such assembly, the holders 10 are assembled in pairs mated with each other in such a manner as the liquid ports 17a, 17c are open and those 17b, 17d are shut on one of the paired holders 10, but opposite setups on the other holder 10. By such construction, passages for heating fluid and those for fluid to be heated independent of each other are formed between holders 10 alternately so that the construction free from direct contact between both kinds of fluids allows variety of types of heating fluids which can be processed.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To make it possible to use various types of heating fluids by a method wherein holders in which latent heat type thermal heat accumulating material is encased are arranged with the same spacing and with alternately salient and re- entrant positions of holders to form them into a block unit. Multiple numbers of such block units are assembled into a unit having two independent fluid passages. CONSTITUTION:The flat holders 10 in which latent heat type thermal heat accumulating material is encased are arranged lengthwise with the same spacing in such a manner as arranged out of line with alternately salient and re-entrant positions of holders. These are then formed into a block unit B with fixing panels 14 put on both sides. Multiple numbers of the block units B are then arranged in parallel with one another with proper lateral spacing in multiple rows with top and bottom covered. By such a setup, both lengthwise and breadthwise fluid passages can be formed independent of each other so that heating fluid passages and passages for fluid to be heated can be separated each other. Therefore, such heat exchangers can be used for various types of heating fluids, and their capacities are easily adjustable by varying numbers and/or ways of arranging the block units.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To simplify and miniaturize a device and obtain the practical one by mounting a cross-fin type heat exchanger with fins, which thin the layer thickness of a thermochemical reaction substance contacting with a thermal medium in a heat-exchange shape, can store the substance and are made up in flat pan shapes, in the device which extracts heat energy, which is changed into chemical energy and stored, as necessary. CONSTITUTION:A cross-fin type heat exchanger 5 with fins 6, to the fringes thereof rising edges 9 with proper height are formed and which are made up in flat pan shapes, is mounted into a shell 4 of a reaction tank 1. When a thermochemical reaction substance such as powdered NaI is entered into the pans 6 and liquefied NH3 into a storage tank (not shown) and the storage tank is heated by means of a coil (not shown), NH3 is changed into a gas, is sent into the reaction tank 1 and reacts thermochemically, and the heat of formation is generated, and transmitted to a thermal medium in heat transfer pipes 7. Since the product is stored in the pans of each fin 6, the efficiency of heat exchange with the heat transfer pipes 7 is improved. In this case, when the rising edges 9 are lowered fin pitches are made smaller, the heat transfer pipes 7 need not be increased and the reaction tank is compacted.

    Abstract: PURPOSE:To obtain a heat accumulator which can store excessive heat such as waste liquid or the like from a factory and resupply it by stacking heat storage elements formed of heat transfer tubes and plates or tray-shaped fins in rack shape and bringing the fins into contact with heat accumulating medium for physically or chemically absorbing the heat. CONSTITUTION:Heat storage elements 3 formed by integrally contacting the tray- shaped fins 6 with the heat transfer tubes 5 are stacked in rack shape in a heat accumulator body 2, and heat accumulating medium 9 such as amine complex or the like of metallic halogen compound is placed on the fins 6. When heat medium such as waste liquid or the like from the factory is supplied from a heat medium supply tube 7, the heat accumulating medium 9 is decomposed into metallic halogen compound and ammonia gas to absorb the heat and to then store the heat. The ammonia gas thus produced is discharged out of a system from an exhaust tube 11. When the ammonia is supplied from the ammonia supply tube 10, amine complex is generated to generate heat to heat the heat medium 8. Thus, the heat such as waste liquid from the factory can be stored, and produced again.
