    Abstract: PURPOSE:To drive a turbine by using high pressure vapor and effectively recover the waste heat, by fully preheating a work medium with hot water falling down from an evaporator to convert said work medium to the high pressure vapor. CONSTITUTION:Hot water is heated by a source of waste heat in a hot water heat exchanger 1 and flows into an evaporator 8 of a high pressure vapor generating device 7. The work medium from a multiholed nozzle 16 is directly contacted with the hot water falling down countercurrently in a preheater 10, preheated and directly contacted with the hot water in the evaporator 8 to be converted to high pressure vapor, which is heated by a vapor heater 12 to drive a turbine 21 and generate an electric power. In this way, a halogenated hydrocarbon can be used as the work medium thus to enable an effective recovery of the waste heat as an electric energy.
