Abstract: Sistema de ascensores en edificios altos, cuyo siste- ma comprende al menos un primer pozo (13) de ascensor que aloja un ascensor dispuesto para, en uso, detenerse en los pisos denominados niveles de transferencia (8, 8a) y, al me- nos, un segundo pozo (14) de ascensor que aloja ascensores cuyas cabinas (22) de ascensor están dispuestas una encima de otra en el segundo pozo de ascensor, estando diseñadas dichas cabinas de ascensor para detenerse, durante su recorrido, en cualquier piso para el cual o desde el cual se haya emitido una llamada, estando dicho segundo pozo (14) de ascensor di- vidido verticalmente en pozos locales (17, 18, 19) situados uno encima de otro, en número de, por lo menos, uno para cada zona comprendida entre los niveles de transferencia (8, 8a), estando dispuestos los ascensores de los pozos locales (17, 18, 19) para desplazarse uno encima de otro en el mismo pozo de tal manera que sus recorridos se encuentren en espacios de pozo dispuestos uno encima de otro, de modo que cada ascensor se desplace, en uso, entre los pisos más alto y más bajo de su propio pozo local (17, 18, 19), caracterizado porque, ex- cepto para el ascensor situado más arriba, el piso más alto al que puede llegar cada ascensor, es el piso siguiente por debajo del piso más bajo al que puede llegar el ascensor si- tuado inmediatamente encima de él y, porque cada nivel de transferencia (8, 8a) comprende un piso de transferencia su- perior y uno inferior, de manera que cada piso de transferen- cia inferior sea el piso más alto para la cabina (22) de as- censor que funciona en el pozo local (17, 18) que llega a él desde abajo y parte de él bajando, y porque cada piso de transferencia superior es el piso más bajo para la cabina (22) de ascensor que funciona en el piso local (18, 19), que llega a él desde arriba y parte de él subiendo.
