Abstract:
PURPOSE: A temporary satellite constellation design system and method for a reconnaissance and surveillance mission are provided to obtain the maximum observation effect from limited satellite resources by reconnoitering and surveilling a specific area using a small number of satellites. CONSTITUTION: A temporary satellite constellation design system comprises an input part(100), a design part(200), and an achievement calculation unit(300). The input part receives current orbit information on each satellite and target orbit information for rearranging satellites corresponding to temporary satellite constellation from outside and generates an input signal. The design part searches for a target orbit of each satellite based on the input signal of the input part and designs temporary satellite constellation. The achievement calculation unit calculates achievement according to the target orbits.
Abstract:
An apparatus and method of charging and housing of an unmanned vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) aircraft is disclosed. The apparatus includes an accommodator to accommodate an aircraft, a landing platform on which the aircraft lands, a housing portion to monitor state data by housing or charging the aircraft, and a sensor to assist in landing of the aircraft by allowing the aircraft to communicate with the apparatus. The apparatus enhances operational efficiency by reducing a travel time of the aircraft.
